The map is the visual representation of the Asian Continent and its administrative division during the early '90s.

With the occasion, the CC Community was asked to decide the definitive name for the map, at the conclusion of the poll the map was renamed as Far East.

A small map with lots of choke points depicting the 7 Celtic "nations".
Until the 2nd century BC, the Celts lived across the whole of central and western Europe.
Around the reign of Julius Caesar, the Romans began to push the Celts out of mainland Europeuntil they were limited to the fringes of western Europe and the Islands of Great Britain and Ireland.
Later in AD times the Normans invaded great Britain and pushed the Celts out of the heart of the Island.
The only areas left with a Celtic cultural presence became known as the 7 Celtic Nations:
Ireland, Scotland, Wales, The Isle of Man, Brittany, Cornwall, and Galicia.

America's favorite pastime comes to CC with the Baseball map. You'll start your quest to control the diamond from the bullpen on one of the pitchers named after the greatest slingers in baseball history. Your only way out to the field is through the Batter, Babe Ruth. From there, you can get a hit to one of the baseballs scattered throughout the diamond. But you'd better do more than just get the ball in play: the batter and all baseballs except Home Runs will reset to a neutral on your next turn. For bonuses, you can go for the Home Run, get on base, control one of the areas of the field, or get to one of the Hall of Fame players that are playing defense. These defenders can also allow you to move quickly across the map.
Keep in mind that the only way to take out another player's pitcher is through the large stack of neutrals (15 of them!) on the Mound. From there you can bombard the pitchers, but not attack them, so once they're out, they're not coming back into this ball game. But plan that attack on the pitching staff wisely: if you hold the mound at the start of your next turn, it will revert back to the big stack of neutrals

This map was created to commemorate the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada. The map features teams as territories in qualifying groups as the bonus regions, including a special world cup territory in the middle of the map.
Players begin in qualifying confederations; the group stages and playoffs all start neutral, with increasing neutrals towards the finals. Each team can play (attack) each other team in the same qualifying group, and corresponding teams that progressed to the Group Stage proper. More than one team in the Group stage is required to open up conditional borders to the corresponding winner/runner-up/third place slots in the Round of 16. The Round of 16 slots can also attack back to teams within the corresponding group. To win the game, you can either eliminate your target, eliminate all your opponents, or conquer and hold both the Finalist positions.
