Right I'm really behind on the write-ups so here are ALL 10 for Week 6. I will be more regular with these soon.

Man City vs. Everton (Week 6)
Everton have won on their last four visits to City, so City fans were nervous. Mario Balotelli opened up the scoring when his deflected shot went in on the 17th minute. Then 10 minutes later Man City doubled their lead when James Milner scored from David Silva's sublime pass. Everton tried to pull one back but the half time whistle left Manchester City two goals up. Everton started the second where they left off and scored 5 minutes after the break with Tim Cahill's header. Man City realised there lead was at threat and held Everton out. Quarter of an hour later, Man City restored there two goal lead when Samuel Nasri had a beautiful shot which left a floundering Tim Howard on the floor. And on the 75th minute Man City put the game safe when Balotelli found a well-placed second goal. With just 5 minutes left, Silva put the icing on the cake wth a little help of the woodwork. Full-time Score Man City 5-1 Everton. Image

Arsenal vs. Bolton (Week 6)
Robin van Persie scored his 99th and 100th goals for Arsenal in today's fixture. He carefully slotted home the opener in the 21st minute. Arsenal were brought back to reality when Theo Walcott limped off having felt a sharp pain in his knee. He joins Yossi Benayoun, Jack Wilshere and Thomas Vermaelen on Arsenal's injury list. Van Persie scored his 100th goal for Arsenal with just 20 minutes to go when he turned in Gervinho's cross. Bolton's 49 year wait for a win at Arsenal continues. Arsenal 2-0 Bolton. Image

Chelsea vs. Swansea (Week 6)
Fernando Torres scored early on as Chelsea's hunt for a win this season looked like it could be over. Torres' afternoon then became torrid  as he got a straight red card. The game proved to be fairly lackluster from there on as Chelsea defended a one goal win. Despite the pace of the game Chelsea doubled there lead on 75 minutes when Brazilian striker Ramiers found the net when Ashley Cole picked out the advancing Ramires on the edge of the area and he coolly slotted the ball through the legs of Vorm. Chelsea 2-0 Swansea Image

Liverpool vs. Wolves (Week 6)
Steven Gerrard made his first appearance for six month after suffering from a groin injury while Wolves started with a 4-5-1 formation - the first time this season. Liverpool snatched the lead in fortuitous style in the 12th minute when Adam's 25 yard shot was deflected off Wolves' skipper Roger Johnson. Liverpool provided little entertainment for the rest of the half and Wolves had a few attacks but nothing came of it. In the second half, Wolves equalised, when sub, Fletcher, shot in from eight yards; after Hunt's cut-back with Reina and Martin Skrtel getting in each other's way. Liverpool retook the lead in the 63rd minute when Enrique's chipped pass over the top was met by a perfectly timed run by Suarez, who twisted and turned to leave Christophe Berra struggling before firing in from eight yards. Andy Carroll fruitless season improved when he put the final goal in with an easy header. Liverpool 3-1 Wolves. Image

Newcastle vs. Blackburn (Week 6)
Demba Ba scored his first hat-trick in English football in a thrilling encounter with Blackburn. He scored his first in just over 10 minutes when Fabricio Coloccini sent Leon Best down the left wing where he crossed for Ba, who turned and fired a fierce shot past Rovers keeper Paul Robinson. Blackburn soon equalised when Olsson's cross found Hoilett, who got the ball under control and lashed it into the roof of the net. Demba Ba found his second goal before the end of the half when Ba headed Cheik Tiote's ball towards goal, and strike partner Best, defender Dann and goalkeeper Robinson all failed to get a touch: and it went in. Despite protest from Rovers who felt Best fouled Dann, who went off injured, and Olsson was booked for complaining to the referee. Blackburn brought it back to two-two when Olsson sliding into the box got a touch and went flying into the corner of the net. Newcastle restored there lead for the third time as Demba Ba rounded off his hat-trick when Jason Lowe failed to clear Steven Taylor's header across goal and Ba pounced to finish off his hat-trick. Olsson found his second when a lucky bounce of his shin off Michel Salgado's cross. Newcastle 3-3 Blackburn. Image

West Brom vs. Fulham (Week 6)
A dull game were chances were few and far between. West Brom 0-0 Fulham.

Wigan vs. Tottenham (Week 6)
Tottenham scored early on when Gareth Bale rose above the rest to nod in and Wigan fans feared they were in for a 9-1 defeat of 2009 and Wigan looked like they would be on a page of there own on the teletext. Wigan equalised when Stam charged down Benoit Assou-Ekotto's attempted clearance and the ball came back to him. He found Diame, who held off Younes Kaboul with some neat footwork before driving a low shot inside the left-hand post. and picked up their second point of the season. Wigan 1-1 Tottenham. Image

Stoke vs. Man Utd (Week 6)
Man Utd scored inside twenty minutes to take the lead at the Brit when a one-two with Fletcher allowed Nani to shift the ball onto his left foot before caressing his shot beyond Begovic. Stoke looked like they were going to hold out but Man Utd put a second in when Giggs very nearly squandered an open goal. Stoke 0-2 Man Utd.

QPR vs. Aston Villa (Week 6)
Aston Villa scored early on in a dull game at Loftus Road. Bannan netting a penalty was his first goal of the season gave Aston Villa the lead and the match. QPR 0-1 Aston Villa. Image

Norwich vs. Sunderland (Week 6)
The Black Cats ate The Canaries at Carrow Road. They took the lead early on when a well-struck drive from Richardson meant keeper Ruddy, could do nothing. And Norwich doubled there lead earlyon in the second half when Wickham nodded home from six yards. Norwich 0-2 Sunderland.

Everton vs. Liverpool (Week 7)
As usual at a Merseyside derby there is always something to discuss and after this one it was the Liverpool's £58m strikeforce of Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez and Jack Rodwell's controversial early red card. This makes him the 19th player to be red-carded in the last 12 years of Merseyside derbies. Rodwell was sent off by referee Martin Atkinson - who has shown 15 red cards since the start of last season - after 23 minutes for what appeared to be a legitimate challenge on Suarez. Liverpool had started the game the better but Everton looked like they were putting there noses back in the game until the sending off. Everton struggled with 10 men and Liverpool punished them with a goal in the 33rd minute from Dirk Kuyt's penalty after Phil Jagielka felled Suarez. Liverpool doubled there lead before the half ended when Carroll turned in his first Premier League goal of the season after 43 minutes. Liverpool came out fighting in the second half and Everton crumbled under the pressure as Suarez took advantage of a misunderstanding between Leighton Baines and Sylvain Distin to make the scoreline 3-0. Liverpool's attack was slowing as they made it 4-0 when Suarez found a second from a cross from Kuyt. With two minutes from the end, Everton scored a consolation goal when Cahill rose above Liverpool's defense to nod home as Pepe Reina's athletic save only slowed the ball's progression toward goal. Everton 1-4 Liverpool. Image

Aston Villa vs. Wigan (Week 7)
The visitors have never lost in their previous six visits to Villa coming into this fixture. Aston Villa's pace aided them to the lead after 31 minutes when Agbonlahor cut inside from the left before crashing a shot past Ali Al-Habsi into the roof of the net for Villa's opener. They doubled their lead after the break when after a short scare when Barry Bannan was forced to clear off the line from a crowded corner. It was in the 63rd minute when Agbonlahor crossed from the left and Bent finished with a precision volley. Villa continued to mount pressure on Wigan's defense and we rewarded in the 83rd minute when Abonglahor took on the Wigan defense and after a fine run put his shot low in the corner. Finishing off Aston Villa's first win over Wigan at Villa Park in the Premier League. Aston Villa 3-0 Wigan.
Image One of the funniest images of all time

Blackburn vs. Man City (Week 7)
Manchester City were trying to put behind them the unresolved Carlos Tevez saga and a 2-0 defeat at Bayern Munich as they took a trip to Ewood Park. Man City started off the better side but the balance of power shifted and Blackburn took the lead when Yakubu's step-over left James Milner for dead and he fired home to give the home side the lead. Their lead lasted just 4 minutes before the visitors pulled one back when Johnson fired into the top corner after Blackburn failed to clear a corner. Spidey's men were suddenly buzzing and before the end of the half they doubled their lead, Balotelli getting in front of Scott Dann to volley Nasri's cross past Paul Robinson. After the break Blackburn came out attacking but were denied an equaliser for nearly 20 minutes until Morten Gamst Pedersen found an equaliser from a corner. Blackburn 2-2 Man City.

Man Utd vs. Norwich (Week 7)
Jessamine made seven changes to the side from the 3-3 Champions League draw with Basel, in which they called per side's defending "careless". Both sides defense were put to the test in the opening half and both of them did to well as neither side really got a look in, with no opportunities that will be looked on as "missed". Both sets of fans were hoping that in the second half the defense will slacken off to provide some entertainment. Unfortunately, this wasn't true until Anderson scored the only goal in the match in the dying minutes Man Utd 1-0 Norwich
Image

Sunderland vs. West Brom (Week 7)
The Wearsiders week had been an up and down to say the least. Defender Titus Bramble was arrested and released on bail on Wednesday, following allegations of sexual assault and drug possession. There week cheered up as on Friday paws1610 was declared manager of the month by the F.A. Things didn't start off well as West Brom took the lead in less than 20 minutes when Wes Brown's lax marking allowed Morrison to head in from a Chris Brunt free-kick and then West Brom doubled their lead before the end of the half when the initial squandering of possession and Michael Turner's lack of pace let Long run through to slot in another. Sunderland tried to turn things around in the second half when Bendtner scored his first for Sunderland mid-way in the second half but it was too little too late for the Black Cats. Sunderland 1-2 West Brom.

For more news and more reviews wait for Thursday for ROTD2 :P

Wolves vs. Newcaslte (Week 7)
Wolves scored quickly when Fletcher scored from Hammill's cross. Newcastle's defense tighten up and held out the Wolves' attackers. In the second half, Wolves only needed 7 minutes to double there lead with another goal from a Hammill corner, Doyle provided the goal. On 65 minutes, Doyle converted a penalty to score his second and Wolves' third. Wolves put the icing on the cake in the 77th minute when O'Hara scored from a free-kick. Wolves very nearly made it 5 but an amazing save from Krul denied Doyle his hat-trick. Wolves 4-0 Newcastle.

Bolton vs.Chelsea (Week 7)
Chelsea had won on their last 8 visits to the Reebok Stadium but were in poor form. Bolton continued Chelsea's poor run of form scoring in the 16th minute with Boyata heading home Martin Petrov's free kick. Bolton shortly doubled their lead when Ngog broke through the back line with a clever one-two with Davies. Bolton made it 3-0 before the break when Pratley's solo run left Chelsea stunned and the ball in the back of the net. In the second half Chelsea tried top turn thing around with Lampard and Sturridge both coming close. But Bolton soon found their stride and Davies found Bolton's fourth after Petrov whipped in a low cross. Substitute Tuncay teed up Reo-Coker for goal number and 5 and Reo-Coker returned the favour in injury time for number 6. Bolton 6-0 Chelsea.

Fulham vs. QPR (Week 7)
A London derby at Craven Cottage proved to be a thriller. Fulham scored straight from the off with Johnson after Kenny was unable to cling on to Dembele's shot and the former Everton striker was first to react. QPR's defense pulled themselves together and QPR went and pulled it back to 1-1 when Wright-Phillips sold Schwarzer the dummy and was left with an open net. Once again at the restart for the second half Fulham were quick to score this time Murphy from the spot when more good work from Johnson, who battled through to the edge of the box, was clumsily brought down by Kenny. Both sides provided some attacking movements in the second half but neither side could find another goal. Fulham 2-1 QPR.
Image

Swansea vs. Stoke (Week 7)
A slow first half was more than made up for in the second. Swansea had been the better side in the opening half but no goals came of it. Stoke held out the Swansea defense up until the hour mark when Routledge, after receiving the ball from Joe Allen, was brought down following a rash lunge by Stoke captain Shawcross. Sinclair converted from the spot to give Swansea the opening goal. They doubled their lead inside quarter of an hour when Graham picked up on a loose ball before keeping his composure to coolly fire past the keeper - his first goal since his summer move from Watford. The Stoke defense had crumbled after an hour of being on the back foot and Graham found the net from Routledge's cross.
Image

Tottenham vs. Arsenal (Week 7)
The second London derby of the weekend would it live up to its predecessor. To be frank, no. Arsenal started off the better side but Spurs' defense cancelled them out in the first half. In the second Spurs were caught by surprise but still Arsenal couldn't find the net. They eventually did when Ramsey more than luck by judgement thump from 35 yards went in. Tottenham 0-1 Arsenal.

And now the first 6 of the Week 8 write-ups

Man City vs. Aston Villa (Week 8)
Aston Villa went top of the table after a narrow away win to Manchester City which left doubts about the 4-5-1 decision of spidey about Balotelli being a low striker. Aston Villa scored in just over 10 minutes when Agbonlahor's cross found its way to the back post and Warnock firing in off the bar. The game dulled down after that but Man City still found an equaliser before the break when Villa failed to clear a Johnson corner and after the ball was controlled by Micah Richards, Balotelli acrobatically delivered his fourth goal in four games. In the second half, Man City took the lead through Yaya Toure sent over a hopeful cross-field pass that Warnock attempted to clear with a bicycle kick, only to calamitously set Johnson up for a low finish past Given in the 57th minute. Villa soon bounced back and after only 6 minutes of being behind they equalised when Agbonlahor shrugged Joleon Lescott aside on the left touchline and burst into the box to chip an advancing Joe Hart. And Villa retook the lead just ten minutes after equalising when Warnock easily headed home from Delph's corner. Manchester City 2-3 Aston Villa.
Image

QPR vs. Blackburn (Week 8)
QPR dominated the match early on and took the lead in the 17th minute when Rovers should have cleared the danger after blocking Helguson's header from a corner but their failure to do so was punished when a weak clearance fell to the Icelander, Helguson, who floated the ball across the area and into the top corner for his 100th goal in English football. Despite being on the back foot for most of the first half Blackburn equalised 5 minutes before the end of the half when the physically imposing Samba climbing above Hall to head into the top corner directly from a corner. QPR retook the lead just 4 minutes after the half-time break, Joey Barton's shot taking a narrow deflection off defender Samba en route to the net. QPR dulled down before going all out at the end to provide a third when Shaun Wright-Phillips long-range shot sneaked inside the post. QPR 3-1 Blackburn.
Image

Stoke vs. Fulham (Week 8)
Fulham had the possession of the first 15 minutes but went nowhere with it! Fulham took the lead soon in the game when Riise sent a fierce shot into the back of the net after 24 minutes. Stoke didn't have much of the ball in the first half but used it effectively and equalised when Etherington's shot, following a corner, was heading just wide of the far post but Walters was quickest to react and knocked the ball home from close range. Both sides were trying to hold the other out for the second half and looked pleased with a draw but Stoke found a late winner when Delap headed home from a delightful Etherington free kick. Stoke City 2-1 Fulham
Image

Wigan vs. Bolton (Week 8)
Both sides will see this match as a missed opportunity. Bolton had the possession for the opening 15 minutes but created no chances. For the rest of the half the most entertaining thing was the referee checking his watch every 10 seconds so he could be relieved from his boredom. In the second half, Wigan were denied by luck as a beautiful Diame effort struck the woodwork and the deflection bounced off the unsuspecting Robinson who was saved when his "shot" glanced off the post. Bolton then turned the game up a notch and scored with quarter of an hour left when Reo-Coker darted to the near post ahead of Gary Caldwell, Reo-Coker threw himself at Eagles' dangerous low ball from the right, finishing from six yards to score his first for the club. Bolton nearly scored another in injury time when Davies picked Gohouri's pocket before finding Ngog in the box, who shifted the ball onto his left foot and struck a low effort past Ali Al-Habsi only to watch the ball bounce off the inside of the post. Wigan Athletic 0-1 Bolton Wanderers.
Image

West Brom vs. Wolves (Week 8)
Erm, between reporting on this and watching paint dry I would choose the latter. West Bromwich Albion 0-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers,

Arsenal vs. Sunderland (Week 8)
Arsenal had the ball and the opportunities but were held out until 24 minutes when the Gunners worked the ball down the left flank and Gervinho picked out Van Persie - who was given far too much space by Wes Brown - and he fired the ball low past Simon Mignolet. The game was left in shock and couldn't do anything until it was revived by the half-time lemons.
Image
Arsenal started off the first half the same as they opened up the second but it was Sunderland got first blood of the second half when Mikel Arteta was penalised for handball and Larsson curled in the resulting free-kick from 25 yards into the top corner. Arsenal retook the lead just 2 minutes from time when Van Persie scored in style, curling in a fine free-kick from 25 yards. Arsenal 2-1 Sunderland.

Liverpool vs. Man Utd (Week 8)
Man Utd started the game off quickly but the balance of power soon fell to Liverpool who came very close to scoring in the opening half but Man U retook possession and took the lead, Jones met Patrice Evra's cross at the far post and the deadlock was broken. Liverpool had to wait until the second half to equalise and everyone thought a tight game would be on our hands. But Man U were left to run amok with Hernandez coming off the bench to score twice in as many minutes. Liverpool 1-3 Man Utd
Image

Norwich vs. Swansea (Week 8)
Swansea were on top for the opening quarter of an hour but then fell apart and were lucky to be only at 0-0 at half-time. Swansea failed to correct their mistakes of the first half and Norwich capitalised, Elliott Bennett's looping cross from the right was headed down at the far post by the impressive Steve Morison and Pilkington thumped in a shot from close range in the 50th minute. Swansea managed to hold them for half an hour but the pressure became too much, Martin and Pilkington scoring one a piece in the closing 10 minutes. Norwich 3-0 Swansea
Image

Chelsea vs. Everton (Week 8)
Chelsea dominated the first half but failed to score giving Everton a lifeline. Which they took in the second half, Vellios scored with his first touch as he slid in to meet Royston Drenthe's cross. Chelsea equalise within 60 seconds, skipper John Terry nodding in after Lampard curled in a left-sided free-kick and Howard's flap at the ball allowed Terry to head home. Chelsea 1-1 Everton
Image

Newcastle vs. Tottenham (Week 8)
Super-sub Defoe proved to be Spurs Man Of The Match leaving fans and manager wondering why he didn't start. A dull opening half saw little chances for either side. And things failed to pen up until the last quarter of an hour when Defoe was brought on. Firstly he scored when he spun in a flash to drill a low strike past the Dutch goalkeeper. And secondly when he hit the inside of the post with an absolute scorcher in injury time. Newcastle 0-1 Tottenham.

Aston Villa vs. West Brom (Week 9)
Despite Chris Herd leaving the pitch prematurely for Aston Villa, they still went on to win. Aston Villa took the lead in just 14 minutes, when Villa were gifted a penalty. Hesitation from Steven Reid allowed Gabriel Agbonlahor to get to the ball ahead of Ben Foster, before tumbling over the Baggies goalkeeper. Bent sent Foster the wrong way from the spot to put Villa ahead. But in the 31st, Villa went down to 10 men. Olsson and Herd tussled off the ball at a free-kick before Olsson fell to the ground. Assistant referee Darren Cann signalled for a penalty and Dowd sent Herd off to the amazement of the Villa faithful. Aston Villa attacked hard after the injustice and doubled their lead before the end of the half, Bent latching on to a mis-hit Barry Bannan shot from 8 yards out. In the second half, Villa had the possession but being outnumbered struggled to press to the attacking third. West Brom also had good spells of possession but Villa refused to budge. Aston Villa 2-0 West Brom
Image

Bolton vs. Sunderland (Week 9)
Bolton never a got a look in at the Reebok Stadium as the Black Cats recovered from 2-1 away defeat to Arsenal. Sunderland dominated the first half but only scored once in the opening half. 34 minutes in, when Paul Robinson failed to clear a corner from Larsson on the left, O'Shea headed the ball back across the box and a touch from Wes Brown played it into the path of Sessegnon, who turned and shot past Jaaskelainen. Sunderland scored in just 7 minutes in the second half, a bursting run opened up the defence before Sessegnon played in the Danish striker, Bendtner, who coolly slotted home for his second goal for the club. Sunderland rounded the game off in the 69th minute, John O'Shea met a free-kick from Sebastian Larsson on the left and his powerful header slipped inside Jaaskelainen's right-hand post. Bolton 0-3 Sunderland
Image

Newcastle vs. Wigan (Week 9)
Wigan Athletic left the foot of the table and put Newcastle in their previous place, after an away victory at St. James' Park. An opening half which saw both sides have weak shots at goal but few on target. At the restart, Newcastle appeared to pick up and looked like they could take the three points but Wigan turned the tables and scored with just 12 minutes left, Moses with a sweetly struck left-footed shot. Newcastle 0-1 Wigan.

Arsenal vs. Stoke (Week 9)
Arsenal took possession and the lead early on the Ivorian, Gervinho, gave Stoke's keeper no chance in the 15th minute, collecting Ramsey's clever lofted pass and keeping a cool head to slot home his second goal in Arsenal colours. Arsenal had long spells of possession but didn't add to the scoreline in the opening half. The second half, continued with Arsenal dominating possession but Stoke's defense had tightened up and they weren't making as many opportunities. Stoke then began to take possession but despite having more of the ball, Arsenal scored against the run of play, substitute van Persie converting Gervinho's cross following his powerful run down the right wing. Arsenal began pressing for a third but Stoke too decided to score against the run of play. First Ryan Shawcross peeled off at the back post to return the ball across goal, where it was flicked on by Matthew Upson to Jon Walters, who nodded it goalwards for Crouch to side-foot home from three yards.
Image

Fulham vs. Everton (Week 9)
It took Everton just 132 seconds to break their deadlock, on their first attack. Rodwell laid the ball back and Dutchman Drenthe, on loan from Real Madrid, curled the ball past Mark Schwarzer with his left foot. Everton then made it 2-0 when where Saha controlled it expertly on his chest and then stroked it past Schwarzer on the counter in the 19th minute. The Fulham fans could not believe their luck but there was more to come, when a ball into the box was headed out as far as Rodwell, who kept his nerve to steer his shot into the back of the net. Everton were scoring for fun by the time number 4 went in, Leighton Baines' left footed cross teeing up Marouane Fellaini. But then the strangest of things happened. Some say that shoop76 threatened his side with hard labour, and other said he turned them into robots, all we know is it worked! Fulham came out fighting and former Liverpool full-back John Arne Riise opened up Fulham's account with his dipping shot from the left edge of the penalty area dipping under the bar less than 10 minutes after the break. Comedy gold in the 68th minute was the next unexpected thing on the match programme. Danny Murphy, back in the side after injury, let rip with his right foot. The ball hit the post, hit goalkeeper Tim Howard on the head and flew across the face of goal and to bounce of the post again and into the net. Shoop76's men were getting back into the game and Howard tried valiantly but failed to stop Brede Hangeland following suit with a close-range header. Fulham finally equalised - more by luck than judgment. England striker Zamora was faced with a open goal in the 89th minute and scuffed his shot for it to hit the post, bounce of the referee and into the net and for all you skeptics part of Law 2 states that the referee and his officials are part of the field of play and if the ball is to strike either then play is to continue as if the ball struck the post. Fulham 4-4 Everton.

7 of the Week 10 fixtures

Everton vs. Man Utd (Week 10)
Everton started the game of well but Man Utd turned the tables and opened up the scoring with Hernandez in the 24th minute. He scored when Evra's pin-point cross from the left meant Hernandez had only to side-foot home from two yards out. Man Utd threatened to score for the rest of the first half but failed to do so. In the second half, Everton ran amok, scoring in just 153 seconds from the restart to equalise; Leon Osman's snapshot finding the qualiser. Everton continued to push and took the lead when Jack Rodwell's 25 yard shot curled inside the post in the 57th minute. Man Utd quickly responded and Everton's lead lasted just 3 and a half minutes; Hernandez scoring again when he finished a well-constructed move with his shot from the edge of the box. Man U retook the lead just 10 minutes after equalising when Danny Wellbeck scored from close-range. Man Utd just needed to hang on for 20 minutes to take their first win at a Merseyside club in nearly 4 years - alas it wasn't to be. Everton scored in the sixth minute of injury time, Baines striking the underside of the crossbar with his freekick from the edge of the box after his side had pushed hard for an equaliser. All in all Man U might be disappointed with a single point as they lose ground on the top 2 but Evertin thoroughly deserved a point. Everton 3-3 Man Utd
Image

Man City vs. Wolves (Week 10)
Both these clubs had won 3, drawn 3, and lost 3 of their fixtures before kick-off but Man City had superior goal difference. The game started off slowly if anything slightly loaded towards Man City but at the quart hour mark Wolves made their mark and began to push and were unlucky to score in their raid of attacks on the Man City box. They however did score before half time, Hunt sent Hart the wrong way with his spot-kick, but Wolves were never really to threaten the City keeper again. Man City came out of the dressing rooms a bit miffed that Wolves had scored a penalty in the third minute of added time (despite only 2 been originally given) and they had lost a man in the process (Kompany was shown a straight red). Man City went all out from the off but their first goal came from "luck than judgement" Wolves keeper, Hennessey held on to the ball too long and his goal-kick clipped the advancing striker, Aguero. The ball fell nicely to Dzeko who wouldn't be amongst the company of the living if he missed an open goal. Man City took the lead in the 70th minute, another Hennessey fumble. He was unable to hold a Silva shot and the ball fell to the Serb Kolarov who volleyed home. Man City put the game safe in the 81st minute, Johnson's beautifully judged curling shot amazed everyone including the ref. Man City's fianl goal came in the third minute of stoppage time when Samuel Nasri nodded in from a Man City corner.
Image

Norwich vs. Blackburn (Week 10)
Norwich's fine home form continued in style as they thumped Blackburn Rovers. The tinder was slow in lighting and took Norwich 41 minutes stunning finish by Morison to light up the game. The former Millwall player letting fly from the edge of the area after being played in by Leon Barnett. Blackburn tried to put themselves back in contention put the attempt was short lived. Norwich doubled their lead on 63 minutes Johnson's defelected in off Blackburn defender, Jason Lowe. In the 81st minute, referee, Anthony Taylor, pointed to the penalty spot deep after Nzonzi was adjudged to have handled. Grant Holt slotted home to make it 3-0. Blackburn fans wished it would end their but it didn't. David Fox his first goal of the season from 25 yards, in the 4th minute of added time. Norwich 4-0 Blackburn.

Sunderland vs. Aston Villa (Week 10)
The clash of the titans. First versus second. Manager of the month of October versus Manager of the month November (even though he didn't know it yet). One way to settle this FIGHHT!!!!!!! No. no really ;) but in the last 10 meetings between Sunderland and Aston Villa, they have only scored 18 goals between them so a 0-0 draw would make my build-up look ****. Sunderland lead the opening wave of attacks but were repelled by the brick wall sometimes called the Villa Back Four. But Sunderland found a hole in the wall and went through it take the lead at the half hour mark. Wickham broke the deadlock for Sunderland. The former Ispwich striker had cost Sunderland £8.1 million in June. The goal came when Sessegnon played a clever pass beyond the Villa defence and Wickham raced through and despite the efforts of three defenders he fired across Given into the bottom right-hand corner. This makes him the youngest player to score this season in the Premier League at 18 years and 212 days old. Villa's wall defense returned and the possession was split for the rest of the half. In the second half, Sunderland were like a bat out of hell and scored. Sessegnon scored for the second match in succession. The chance came from another Larsson free-kick and the midfielder headed past Given from six yards out to double the Black Cats lead. The game looked safe but Villa pushed for a comeback and when Petrov scored with a superb long-range effort on 85 minutes. But it ended up being too little too late. Sunderland 2-1 Aston Villa.
Image

Swansea vs. Bolton (Week 10)
Swansea jumped out of the relegation zone with a comfortable win of Bolton Wanderers. The game started off slowly but Swansea broke the deadlock in the 34th minute, a Mark Gower free-kick, Allen took control and ran through a gaping hole in the Bolton defence before sliding the ball coolly inside keeper Jussi Jaaskelainen's near post. Half-time saved Bolton from conceding another as Swansea were mounting pressure. Swansea kept it up after the break and were awarded in the 59th minute, Sinclair extended the lead with a calmly dispatched penalty. Swansea put the game beyond doubt in the 73rd minutes as record-signing, Danny Graham, kept his composure when put through one-on-one by Leon Britton's pass to beat Jaaskelainen. Swansea 3-0 Bolton
Image

West Brom vs. Liverpool (Week 10)
Two mid table clubs who really cancelled each other out for most of the game. West Brom were on top and if anyone deserved all 3 points it would have been them. A shot past the post from the Cameroonian striker - a stand-in for the injured Shane Long - just after the break represented one of West Brom's few meaningful efforts. Liverpool never really looked in this game and a should be satisfied with a point. West Brom 0-0 Liverpool.

Stoke vs. Newcastle (Week 10)
Newcastle had lost the last 3 games on the trot while Stoke had only taken 3 points throughout October. But despite this, we were in for a spell-binding Halloween fixture. Stoke scored on the stroke of 10 minutes. Dazza2008 had altered his team's formation, and the change gave them the momentum which led to Walters' 10th-minute penalty, when Ba knocked over Crouch following a scramble. Newcastle's defense binded together only to be unraveled as Stoke scored in the 35th minute - Tim Krul dropped a cross into Peter Crouch's path who punished Newcastle harshly. Matthew Etherington made it 3 before the break, his rising shot fooled keeper Krul from a deadly Stoke set-piece. In the second half, Newcastle looked like they might have stopped the Stoke onslaught; but it wasn't to be. Salif Diao and Wilkinson worked possession to Walters, who nudged Ryan Taylor out of the way, allowing Whitehead to take a touch and finish low past Krul to make it 4-0 after 67 minutes. Stoke rounded off the game when Crouch scored with his first touch. The 6ft 7in striker tapped in Whitehead's cross after good work from Jones. Stoke City 5-0 Newcastle

Second Half of Week 9 Write-Ups

Wolves vs. Swansea (Week 9)
A dull first half hour was livened up towards the end of the half but Wolves failed to capitalise on the opportunities. And a sense of déjà vu entered the crowd as the next half started with a dull half hour and then a Wolves breakthrough. But this time Wolves were rewarded. Inspired by the introduction of substitutes Nenad Milijas and Adlene Guedioura, Wolves broke the deadlock on 62 minutes when Kevin Doyle scored after Sam Vokes saw his initial low strike saved. Wolves made it a second in the dying seconds of injury time when Doyle raced away down the left flank to square the ball to O'Hara who smashed home from 12 yards to take all 3 points for Wolves. Wolves 2-0 Swansea.

Liverpool vs Norwich (Week 9)
Liverpool opened up play well and were unfortunate not to score in their early attacks. However, they were rewarded before the break. Latching on to Jose Enrique's clipped ball over the Norwich defence, Bellamy muscled his way past the remaining City defenders to slot his shot past Ruddy via the heel of Marc Tierney to score his first league goal since returning to the club. In the second half, Liverpool had the territorial but failed to double their lead. Liverpool 1-0 Norwich.

Man Utd vs. Man City (Week 9)
For both of these managers it was their first Manchester derby. Man City had a slight edge at the start but Man U pressed hard on the City back line and Man City looked like cracking but the half-time whistle left them in one piece. Man City went all out in the second half, yet Man U broke the deadlock against the run of play on 54 minutes. Fletcher, striking a fine rising shot from 20 yards that gave Joe Hart no chance. This inspired Man U who came very close to making it 2-0 but Man City scored with just 9 minutes left on the clock. Courtesy of a stroke of casual quality from Balotelli. Silva was the creator but Balotelli, given too much time and space by Evans, finished sublimely with a stroked finish into the bottom corner. Man Utd 1-1 Man City

Blackburn vs. Tottenham (Week 9)
A dull match with a dull scoreline. Blackburn 0-0 Tottenham. (Points Totals 28-24)

QPR vs. Chelsea (Week 9)
A west London derby which saw QPR hit the ground running only for Chelsea to turn the tables and steal a 1-0 lead when Frank Lampard's header found the net in the 26th minute. Chelsea eased off and seemed happy to lead 1-0 at the break. Once again, QPR were quick off the mark but Chelsea found the net this time Branislav Ivanovic went in on goal and calmly dispatched the ball into the net. Chelsea will think they should have had a late penalty but the appeal was rejected. QPR 0-2 Chelsea.

Second half of Week 10 Write-ups will appear here (Chemistry & Physics exams coming soon + Business Studies homework = delays)

Chelsea vs. Arsenal (Week 10)
A dull match with no shots at goal in the opening half. Arsenal quickly turned the game around. Van Persie took on John Terry and was left in on goal and Pter Cech was left to pick the ball out of the net. Little else to comment on Chelsea 0-1 Arsenal.
Image

Wigan vs. Fulham (Week 10)
Clint Dempesy found his sixth goal against Wigan in what was a slow starting first half on an amazing counter-attack. Schwarzer rolled the ball out to John Arne Riise, who picked out Danny Murphy. The veteran midfielder's long ball over the top found Zamora in acres of space down the left wing, and he picked out Dempsey, whose shot hit keeper Ali Al-Habsi but still went in im the 39th minute. Team-mate Dembele doubled their lead on the hour mark. Figueroa, gifted Sidwell the ball on the halfway line and he found Dembele, who charged forward and slotted home. Wigan 0-2 Fulham
Image

Tottenham vs. QPR (Week 10)
A dull game looked like to be a bore-draw but Bale swapped passes with Lennon before arching a delightful strike into the top corner from the edge of the box. Making that Bale's first goal of 2011‼

All Week 11 write-ups will appear in this post (it will get edited)

Newcastle vs. Everton
Newcastle remained foot of the table after a disappointing home defeat to Everton. Everton broke the deadlock after 24 minutes, Rodwell heading in at the near post from Drenthe's corner. Seamus Coleman doubled their lead after Louis Saha had flicked on another Royston Drenthe cross from the left. Everton made it three just before the whistle, Rodwell found the net for the second time and Drenthe, got a second assist with another superb cross. Everton put the game beyond doubt in the 55th minute, Saha got in behind a faltering offside trap and kept his composure to extend Everton's lead. Newcastle scored a consolation in the 71st minute, Rodwell headed a long throw clear; to Taylor 25 yards from goal and the full-back chested the ball down and smashed in a shot which arched over Howard before hitting the underside of the crossbar and bouncing in. Drenthe nearly got a third assist in the 79th but Tim Krul stopped Leon Osman's powerful header.

Things look bleak for Newcastle. They're six points from safety. Uk massive takes his side to Manchester City and Manchester United on successive Saturdays after the international break, with Chelsea visiting Sports Direct Arena the following week. Also, the Newcastle manager will have been concerned at the sight of influential midfielder Yohan Cabaye limping off with a groin injury. Newcastle 1-4 Everton.
Image

Arsenal vs. West Brom
West Brom nearly scored in 5 minutes, Steven Reid found himself unmarked in the box but his header was easily saved by home keeper Wojciech Szczesny. They took the lead in the 24th minute, Graham Dorrans effort went low into the corner. West Brom remained on top but failed to convert it into goals. West Brom came out fighting after the break and were rewarded in the 53rd, Graham Dorrans this time scuffing his shot but it found its way goalward. Arsenal looked like they might be improving and their goal was disallowed when Van Persie's tap-in was given offside. But West Brom made it 3-0, in the last minute of injury time, James Morrison scored from a free-kick after Alex Song unfairly brought down George Thorne. Arsenal 0-3 West Brom.
Image

Aston Villa vs. Norwich
Aston Villa were looking to got top as they trailed Sunderland on goal difference alone. Norwich dominated the opening 15 minutes and came close in the 7th; but Andy Pilkington's crossbar rattled the crossbar. The game calmed down after that and Aston Villa were beginning to pick up before the half-time break. Aston Villa came out attacking after the break and were rewarded. All the hard work was done by strike partner Agbonlahor, who played in a superb low cross from the left to present Bent with a chance he could not really miss from four yards out. Aston Villa doubled their lead in the 73rd minute, a weak back pass by Barnett gave Ruddy no chance and he could only watch on in horror as Agbonlahor nipped in first and fired into an empty net. Norwich bounced back instantly in the 75th, an excellent ball in by Grant Holt on the left deceived everyone except Morison, who arrived at the far post to head home. The game had just one goal in it and both sides nerves were on edge. A run from Charles N'Zogbia was cut out by the Norwich defence but Agbonlahor picked up the loose ball and swung in another superb cross, which found Bent six yards out and he side-footed over the bar. But that miss wasn't too costly as the full time whistle went on the resulting goal kick. Aston Villa 2-1 Norwich.
Image

Blackburn vs. Chelsea
Chelsea started the game off well and came close to scoring in just 3 minutes but Fernando Torres fired wastefully over for the visitors from close range. And they were made to pay. Blackburn scored in the 34th minute when a flowing move involving Junior Hoilett and Mauro Formica presented Yakubu with a golden chance from close range and he took it to give Blackburn the lead before the break. They doubled their lead on 50 minutes - Cech spilling a free-kick by Morten Gamst Pedersen into the path of substitute Hanley who punished the Chelsea keeper. Blackburn put the game safe on the hour mark - Givet's run left him 1 on 1 and his shot sneaked inside the far post. Chelsea did go home with a goal. A delightful cross by Ivanovic found the unmarked England midfielder on the edge of the six-yard area, Lampard nodded past Robinson in attempt to make the scoreline respectable.

Chelsea need to turn things around as they sink into the drop-zone and a disappointing draw with Genk will leave manager callmecommander left looking for new inspiration. Blackburn 3-1 Chelsea
Image

Liverpool vs. Swansea
Liverpool and Swansea cancelled each other in the first half and chances were few and far between and quality was lacking. Swansea tried to turn the game around after the break but Liverpool keeper Jose Reina's point-blank reactions were supreme following a good move down the Swansea left. Liverpool's defense regrouped and looked like might hang out for a draw but Swansea scored in the 89th minute. Wayne Routledge beat two defenders before firing an inswinging cross into the danger zone and Danny Graham nodded in for Swansea's first ever win at Anfield. Liverpool 0-1 Swansea.
Image

Man Utd vs. Sunderland
Both sides showed attacking intent through the match but neither could find the shots. Both sides had late penalty appeals turned down, Ferdinand brought down Ji Dong-Won but Howard Mason pointed for a free-kick which was wasted. Danny Wellbeck and Bardsley came together as well but the referee claimed the challenge was fair. Man Utd 0-0 Sunderland.

QPR vs. Man City
QPR broke the deadlock in the first 10 minutes when Bothroyd rose highest to head in Joey Barton's curling free-kick from the right. QPR carried on to attack and came close to 2 goals in the opening quarter of an hour but goalkeeper Joe Hart saved Jamie Mackie's long-range shot. Man City found an equaliser in the 39th minute. QPR defender Ferdinand had earlier denied Dzeko with a superb block, but this time the striker got the better of the defender, cutting inside him after being found by Milner down the right, and firing in low past Paddy Kenny. After the break, Man City took the lead when Silva neatly took Dzeko's cross from the right in his stride before lashing the ball past Kenny in the 56th minute. Man City would have made it 3 in injury time had a post not denied Sergio Aguero's 25-yard strike.

Wolves vs. Wigan
Wolves began the game on the front foot and were denied in the 6th minute by a double save by Al Habsi. O'Hara's initial shot was saved and Ward will be absolutely gutted that Al Habsi athletically reached out to block a second effort on goal. Wigan's defense tightened up but Wolves broke through in injury time in the opening half - Wolves sweeping down on the counter attack and Doyle crossed for O'Hara to slot home the opener. In the second half, Wolves' dominance continued but wasn't rewarded until the 90th minute when Edwards was on hand to finish after Al-Habsi had shown great athleticism to save efforts from both Hunt and O'Hara. Wolves 2-0 Wigan
Image

Bolton vs. Stoke
Bolton walked over Stoke in the joint largest win of the season. It took them 15 minutes to break the deadlock. After Begovic was pulled up for picking up a Glenn Whelan back pass, Klasnic stole the ball from the City goalkeeper's hands and took the free-kick, allowing Davies the simplest of tasks to side-foot the ball home. Potters boss dazza2008 was furious, seemingly both with the original award of the free-kick and the fact referee Webb let Wanderers take it so swiftly. But his afternoon was to get much worse, and his fury was soon directed at his own team for an abject display.
In the 27th minute Eagles made it 2-0 when he controlled Begovic's blundered clearance and fizzed a brilliant low strike past the keeper and into the bottom corner. Half-time came too soon for Bolton as they played a lacking Stoke who were sorely missing injured Matthew Etherington and seemingly tired after a midweek Europa League fixture.
In the second half, play resumed and so did the whitewash. Eagles and Mark Davies combined brilliantly to set up the third goal, laying on the ball for Klasnic, who found the bottom corner with a fierce first-time strike via the fingertips of Begovic in just 45 seconds after the restart. The imposing figure of Kevin Davies then played his part in the fourth when he found striker partner Klasnic and Eagles ran on to the through-ball and cheekily lifted the ball past a bemused Begovic in the 57th minute. Bolton made it five in the 72nd minute Klasnic diverting in David Wheater's header following a corner. There was a still time for a sixth, Joe Riley capped off a fine Premier League debut when Tuncay whipped the ball along the box and he poked it in. Bolton 6-0 Stoke.
Image

Fulham vs. Spurs
Spurs broke the deadlock in just 13 minutes - Kyle Walker's burst down the right ended with a lay-off to Lennon, and his cross was pushed by Mark Schwarzer into the path of Bale. The Wales international's powerful effort from an angle struck Baird, who could do little about stopping the ball cannoning off him into the net. Gareth Bale was still awarded the goal despite the deflection. Fulham tried to turn the game around but had no results for their efforts at half-time. The second half started off dully but Fulham realised they needed to attack and did so yet they didn't score it Kaboul was helpless as King's headed clearance from a corner cannoned off his team-mate and over the line in the 62nd minute. Shoop's side showed spirit and scored for themselves in the 73rd, in a chaotic goalmouth scramble, Kyle Walker appeared to handle the ball inside his own area and Moussa Dembele stepped up to bring home the bacon. Tottenham very nearly found an injury time equaliser but with Friedel produced a one-handed stop to keep out Brede Hangeland's header. Fulham 2-1 Tottenham.

All Week 12 write-ups will appear in this post (it will get edited)

Norwich vs. Arsenal
Arsenal started the game off brightly and were unlucky in the 15th minute when Van Persie's header was denied by a goal line save from Martin. Norwich were the side to break the deadlock, Morison stealing into the box when Mertesacker dallied unnecessarily on his clearance and sliding into the corner in the 41st minute. Norwich nearly had a second after the break but Anthony Pilkington scuffed Elliott Bennett's whipped cross six yards out with the goal gaping in front of him. Arsenal's goal came in the 77th minute, released Van Persie (pictured), who strode clear before chipping a delightful finish into the corner. Norwich 1-1 Arsenal.
Image

Everton vs. Wolves
A game that started off slowly perked up with both sides having a look in before halftime but Everton bagged a goal before the half-time interval - Jajielka provided the goal despite his broken toe :o . Everton doubled their lead in the 53rd, they broke Wolves's resistance when Baines tucked in from 12 yards after Moss had pointed to the spot. They made 3-0 with 20 minutes left - Saha chipped an incoming Wayne Hennessey to put the game safe. Or so Everton thought, Fellaini was penalised for a trip on Edwards and Hunt calmly stepping up to score his second league goal of the season to make it 3-1 in the 77th (pictured). The comeback of the season appeared to be on the cards when Wolves scored again, Stephen Ward whipped in a cross and Doyle punished from 6 yards out in the 86th minute. Alas, it was too little to late. Everton 3-2 Wolves.
Image

Man City vs. Newcastle
Newcastle have being waiting for over a decade for an away win against Man City - Alan Shearer scored the only goal at Maine Road in September 2000. And it looked like history was going to repeat itself as Man City took the lead in the 26th - Steven Taylor managed to stop Aguero's shot but when the ball bounced to Toure, his follow-up was blocked by Ryan Taylor's outstretched arm. Balotelli made no mistake from the spot. After that the game really dulled down. Newcastle tried to kick for an equaliser late in the second half but Man City went on to double their lead 6 minutes from time - Ryan Taylor failed to collect Samir Nasri's through-ball and Richards was on hand to steal in and score from 10 yards out. Man City 2-0 Newcastle.
Image

Stoke vs. QPR
A dull start was livened up on the half hour mark. Armand Traore burst through down the left and swung an excellent cross in for the Iceland international to head home unmarked yet he failed to captalise. The game was verging on dour until QPR scored on the hour mark - Shaun Wright-Phillips was involved in the build-up as he played in Mackie, who pulled the ball back from the right byline for the incoming Young (pictured) to fire past Thomas Sorensen. QPR began to dominate late on but Helguson headed over from 4 yards in injury time. Stoke 0-1 QPR.
Image

Sunderland vs. Fulham
Sunderland started off on the front foot but Fulham broke the deadlock right at the end of the half - Dempsey making the most of a swift counter-attack putting his shot past the reach of thr goalkeeper. Fulham doubled their lead on the hour mark - Sessegnon's header went in despite him nodding in from outside the box. Fulham put the game safe in the 70th - when Moussa Dembele showed tremendous trickery and quick footwork to wriggle free and fire a shot past Westwood.
Image

West Brom vs. Bolton
Neither side looked like scoring and Shane Long nearly returned to physio after a hard challenge as seen in picture. Ironically, if each of the manager's predecessors were here it would be the 5th consecutive time Owen Coyle's side (Bolton) would have failed to take 3 points against Roy Hodgson (West Brom). West Brom 0-0 Bolton.

Wigan vs. Blackburn
Wigan started off brightly but received no award for their effort before half-time. The second half started off slowly but then Blackburn broke the deadlock. A long ball forward was flicked on by Steven Nzonzi and after Caldwell failed to clear, Yakubu pounced with his first touch of the match to chip the ball over Ali Al-Habsi in the 61st minute. Blackburn put the game safe in the 76th minute, Hoilett's (pictured) controversial goal did the job. Wigan are the only side never to be relegated from the top flight of English football but as they six points from safety things don't look good. Wigan 0-2 Blackburn.

Swansea vs. Man Utd
Man Utd have not won away against Swansea in their previous eight meeting (two draws, six losses). Swansea bolted out of the traps scoring in 12 minutes. Wayne Routledge, starting in midfield as Joe Allen's slight knock relegated him to the bench, delivered a perfect far-post cross and Sinclair had the simplest of nod-ins from six yards. Swansea doubled their lead on 48 minutes dead. Half-time substitute, Joe Allen, knocked the ball and Sinclair beat David de Gea at his near post. Danny Graham rounded of the match on the 89th minute when his 20-yard drive found its way in the back of the net. Swansea 3-0 Man Utd.

Chelsea vs. Liverpool
Both sides battled out the first half but only Liverpool were rewarded - Obi Mikel conceded possession to Adam in dangerous territory. Suarez then found Bellamy, whose perfect pass was an open invitation for Maxi to sweep his finish past Cech. Chelsea equalised in the 50th minute when Florent Malouda was allowed too much time and space to run into the area before crossing for Sturridge to tap in to an unguarded net. Chelsea took the lead in the 59th minute, with Branislav Ivanovic's low header. Chelsea's lead lasted 4 minutes. Adam's raking pass found Johnson (pictured), who evaded Ashley Cole and Malouda to score with great composure and give Liverpool an equaliser. Substitute Jordan Henderson skipped past a succession of challenges to allow Downing to set up Dirk Kuyt in the 75th minute. Liverpool made it 4-2 with just 3 minutes left - Luis Suarez & Craig Bellamy's clever one-two left David Luiz stranded and Suarez put the icing on the cake. Chelsea 2-4 Liverpool.

War doesn't determine who's right; it determines who's left.
