I don't need help to access this restricted site

Well I don't know why but I'm on a different iPad than I usually use and I had to enter a code to access the forum because it's restricted.

Edit: title change since I simply entered a code and the restricted site loads now. Odd no one cares about the actual subject of the original post. I will know not to bother trying to inform anyone next time I notice something like this.

It would not let me enter the site unless I entered a code. I guess it thought my child was trying to look at it.

There used to be a game here where some posted things in the forum then would get scolded because the content might get the site blocked by employers, schools, etc.

I figured I would write this since I noticed it is being blocked by something now.

I can't find any info from Apple to say CC is restricted, I dunno.. I have a few ipads here as well as iphones and CC forums work on all without any warnings

Maybe its coz you have a pic of Steve Irwin holding a baby drop bear which he is about to throw into the crocs and see who wins (by the way, drop bears eat crocs . shhhh)

My other iPad never did it either, presumably because it was never set up for a child like this one that used to belong to my daughter. Point is that someone, and regardless of what you and Owen figure, it was not me, set conquer club to show up as restricted on some iPads. I'm not upset.

No, I am concerned. I just can't replicate it or find any info on it or how to rectify it.
Apple was unable to give me any ideas or have any reason as to how, why or where we may be restricted
I will pass it onto admin to see if they have any more luck than me.

No, it's fine. I see the humour in what appeared to be me whining it was difficult to get here.

I never cared much before when I was probably part of the future problem. I know some employers had blocked the site somehow. And though I must admit these oldipads are decent Apple is not my favourite Corp.

In the Restrictions area of the Settings
I found ...
In the " Allowed Websites " area the following information
1 : All Websites
2 : Limit Adult Content
3 : Specific Websites Only

If Specific Websites Only is selected
It will show a list " Only Allow These Websites "
At the bottom of the list : " Add A Website"
When clicked it allows you to add a website
1st : Website Name
2nd : Website URL

If you select " All Websites " this should fix your problem

I simply entered the code to access the restricted website.

Sports Illistrated is not.

I am thinking a crawler bot found bad words here but the webcam pointed up seems like a very strange thing to restrict.

You may not have intentionally blocked any of these things, but it's still dependent on some setting on your device. You need to research what the setting is and how to change it.

Do you recall if it was a the OS prompting you for the password, or if it came from your browser? It does seem like either adblocker software or antivirus software or some kind of firewall settings being different on the two devices would explain this.

Or it could be you just opened a portal into the CC of a parallel dimension. just saying...if you see owen post its probably a sign your in the parallel dimension since he hasn't been seen on the site in ages.
