The truth is...Arkansas uses the nation's idea of this state to promote tourism. Northerners, and the like, have this idea of a hillbilly with two teeth and no indoor plumbing, and a lot of the locals have used this for their good. There is a highly educated doctor here in Arkansas that spends his weekends sitting on the porch of a tourist attraction in overalls playing a banjo and selling jarred goods...

I'm not denying the existence of ignorance, country music, hillbillies, and hound dogs in this wonderful state...I am simply putting forth the notion that perhaps, just perhaps, there is a higher level of existence here than is widely accepted as true.
