kong comes in and (rightly) says we aren't in a rush to lynch LC. discussion continues, LC does little to help his case except repeat that he wouldn't have lynched Annie, which is a weird defense to use because his only reason is "i wouldn't have been playing 100% to win". then max comes back in and it's insta-hammer time.

i haven't liked either way the hammers dropped. the first one was simple though. this one? i'm not quite sure. the only thing about it is that he was the only suspect and it was inevitable at this point.

Accusation count

Loose - 5 (DDS, DJF, hjelp, Devante, Max)

With 8 in class, it takes 5 accusations to send someone to the principal's office

'There was a lot of commotion in mr. Farinakis's class this day. Although he was a calm and collected teacher, the in and out of students got to him, and when one of the new students steamed on to accuse LC of using AI to get the vectors to align with the hypotheses he started out from, it got mr. Farinakis in a blind rage.
- "Right, go to the principal's office, Loose."
- "This is ridiculous. They're ganging up on me in slave mentality, camel-based, fear-mongered frenzy."
- "This is no time for Nietzsche. This is maths class. Go to the principal's office."
- "Fine. I'll go. But you're in the wrong. Some of these students are thorny bushes in wallflower's clothing."
- "What? Get out of here!"
- "I'm going alright! Sheesh, for a maths teacher, you're bad at figuring it out."

Loose Canon has been sent to the principal's office.

Attention students,

This is a very important announcement, so please listen carefully. Would DirtyDishSoap please report to the principal's office immediately? If any of you other students see him, make sure to stress that it is imperative that he reports to the principal's office now.

Thank you and please enjoy the rest of recess before next class.

LESSON 4: ARTS

Hi students,

I'm your arts teacher, Mrx. Galloway. I see that class has diminished significantly, which, from a teaching perspective is nice as you will have more time with the teacher each of you. It's my experience that that's a very important part of arts class. See, not only do I want you to produce a work of art of some kind, but you will also have to ground your work in theory of Romantic aesthetics, so please take out the book and go to page 147 where you'll find a short introduction to Romanticism that I presume you've already touched upon in English class.

After 20 minutes of silent reading, you'll lay out a preliminary plan and idea of your work. This is an individual task, so there's no need for talking amongst each other, but arts is also about inspiration - as the Romanticist knew well - so obviously you are allowed to speak with each other as long as the learning milieu is kept open for everyone.

Good reading, and, of course, NO AI!

Difficult task now. My best guess is Dev and Max - based on that DDS was killed.
I don’t understand LC and the way of play. If LC knew who the baddies were, how come arguing for DDS. The only way I can think of is that LC wins if baddies win the game.

Depends on how to read the wording ”suck-up”.
If I recall correctly LC wrote something regarding wallflowers turning into baddies ?
I have to check LC’s postings.
If so we haven’t got all info about LC’s role and then it might be clearer why LC was into wallflowers turning baddies.
And let’s assume that LC knew that Charle was bad. If I recall LC wrote that Charle was bad but didn’t want to rush the lynch. Have to check that too.
Baddies aren’t aware of LC so it must mean that LC didn’t attend night discussions?
Moreover, LC breadcrumbed being bad by the story wallflowers turning bad, to prevent baddies to vote on LC?
Finally, if LC was true about three baddies and LC was sucked-up as a fourth then there still are two baddies ??

I found these regarding wallflowers being Mafia (LC post) and that it was Traf that wanted not to rush a lynch of Charle and also found why LC dropped the vote on Charle.

I know that Charle did cast a vote on Devante once
(D2) so Devante may be Townie and is Town if Mafias don’t vote on themselves.
Spoiler
Loose Canon wrote: Tue Jul 07, 2026 7:11 pm Re DDS, DJF - both of whom seem to think or persist in saying Wallflowers are Town and therefore the stronger and earlier the breadcrumbs the more town you/they are.

I see such breadcrumbs in 5.

A power of Mafia surely has to be mod supplied fake claim(s) of wallflower or just mod notification to mafia that there are wallflowers, otherwise;
1. surely flawed game - 5 DIY masons

2. I was given game set up information as my non-Wallflower but otherwise vanilla town role.
I thought that was filler info thats useful to know at any point of the game the ratio of town to bad guys left. I didn't disclose D1 although I initially thought was going to because everything was overtaken by this wallflower stuff, which DDS was all too happy to push, that came after his "probably not Max". He then gloated he knew it wasn't Max which only a mafia can "know".
Giving me the game set up says to me Rag was making me conscious of importance of game set up in some way. Therefore I conclude not all wallflowers are town.
DDS doesn't like that because it doesn't fit with his pushing all wallflowers including himself are town agenda.

I can't go anywhere during breaks past or future because if I do and there's any watching or tracking or motion detecting etc on me I'm AI Mafia.

Thing is the hiding wallflowers can't either BUT they can bluff that they are not worth watching or tracking or suchlike.
And a mafia hiding as a town wallflower has free rein to send anyone who's not a wallflower and therefore has a power of some kind to the principals.
With 3 mafia 1 or 2 of the wallflowers being in the AI mafia is an inference that I think can be given a high level of confidence.

SEPARATELY I do want to know whether Charles claimed role has any town utility, because I don't understand what it is from what he has said.
Does Charle say he sends in a break action/request to Ragian each break - if so what does Charle say he asks for?

FP'd by DDS

Actually DDS do you really believe all Wallflowers are Town?
TrafalgarLaw01 wrote: Tue Jul 07, 2026 8:39 pm Ok, i finally had time to catch up.

So I think we can assume some of the Wallflowers are almost comfirmed town, unless scum got access to their rolenames and could easily followed the breacrum. unlikely tho.

Charle claim definitevely has a poor claim and seems all over the place, less consiten as when he is town and plays with a strat, so feel like my vote him, but don't want to rush the vote, that has costed town in the past.

LC. Also some confusive play, but sometimes he is like that, but the no preassure claim + som other things also got him high on my scum list.

Dev quite inactive but I can't say anything about that.

Kingm claimed he folle the breadcrum, but everyone could do that and at the begginig if he had the whole text would not be hard to do so and it took him a while. then saying boring as in also in also vanilla and the power to vote seems not enough

DDS carrying town, but here is the hero to help him send the baddies to the principal room
Loose Canon wrote: Wed Jul 08, 2026 2:39 am Great Traf, late to the party, not late enough to drink all the booze, add to the mess all over the place to be cleared up, won't be seen again for days no doubt.
But thanks anyway always a pleasure and an honour to be graced by your presence.

Charle has to clarify his utility and how his role works.

Regarding the janitor thing in the first place a townslip confusion from what DJF said, and interpreting that as DJF claiming gardener, and confusing gardener with janitor particularly if Charle has a non pupil role is what I read that as.
Someone once said scumslips do happen - they are rare and I've never seen one on Charle's scale if a scumslip.
Townslips on the other hand are very common and mafia jumps on these and exploit them all they can.
DDS jumped in and made me very uncomfortable with his vote on Charle D1.
Instinctively and quickly I got off of the Charle vote in reaction.

DDS says I haven't been scum hunting.
Does not challenging him count?
I also found DDS compilation of Kong. Which make me think that Kong is Mafia and is trying to get more info regarding the last existing PRs among Townies. Traf didn’t vote on Charle and not on LC so I’m leaning to cast a vote on Kong (Traf).
Spoiler
DirtyDishSoap wrote: Tue Jul 21, 2026 1:47 pm Hi Kong, thanks for subbing in. Sorry I've been quiet. Wanted to wait and see but I think I've seen enough to get a rough picture or at least counter argue.
kongming3 wrote: Mon Jul 20, 2026 10:15 pm Hi all, I am the new transfer student. I had to read everything from the start just now, so apologies if I missed something.

I'll start by saying that Charle's claim of being a teacher in a game where everyone is explicitly a student made no sense from the outset, and was clearly a panic fake claim. People saying they called him out for that and eventually voted for him (weeks later, and after flip-flopping) get no town credit for me, especially with how delayed the final lynch actually became. Should have been a freebie for anyone to say they wanted to lynch Charle, and the weird role powers and random additional note didn't help. Anyone who wanted to lynch day 1, but didn't lynch the gimme mafia mess-up, is suspicious in my eyes.

Making other comments in other posts, since I struggle with getting quotes right.
Okay, but this is just pure hindsight 20/20. Having that information directly now vs then just seems kind of condescending, but whatever.

What bothers me more about this hindsight post are these posts that follow...

Assume nine Townies
Spoiler
Four wallflowers plus one lynched will give three left with PR plus a possible LC non-Mafia
Two are lynched so one left with PR and a possible LC non-Mafia.

This means if LC flips town there were three PR of nine from the start and three Mafias. Seems as a difficult task for Townies having three PR?

This means if LC flips Mafia there were four PR of nine from the start and three Mafias. Seems like an easy task for Townies having four PR?

Did I get it right or wrong ??
In a ”normal” game setup having 12 players.
Is it most common having three or four PR ?
Nine Townies and three Mafias ?
You're leaving out Maxleod, the only confirmed wallflower. If we treat everyone who has publicly claimed or implied it so far as actually being a wallflower, then game start had 5 self-confirming townsfolk, minimum 2 additional town PRs (Annie and Hotbunnie confirmed so far), and then whatever else might be left in remainder for town. I'm not including LC in that as I think he's more likely to flip mafia than not.
kongming3 wrote: Tue Jul 21, 2026 7:12 am Apologies for messing up quotes again, my reply is that bottom paragraph.

Regarding Traf, if you want to be suspicious of me because he was absent all game I can't really stop you, but it was pretty clear that it was a personal life-related absence, rather than due to any gameplay considerations. I promise that Charle was obvious enough scum that Traf as a player would have been very happy to vote him and look town no matter his actual alignment, and the only reason I was subbed in was because for whatever reason he literally has not followed or posted or had the time/energy for mafia. I have no clue why that is, but I was only subbed in because he wouldn't even read or reply to mod prods, and very evidently a case of going AWOL rather than lurking for no gain (he would have replied to Rag eventually if he was actually still playing).

For Dev, yeah the not voting for Charle seems pretty odd. On a similar note, I would give some town credit to homer_jay for explicitly pointing out how absurd the teacher claim in an all students game was, and making sure the Charle lynch actually happened. Would be nice if Dev explains further the rationale for his voting choices, unless I missed it somewhere else.

hjelp wrote: Tue Jul 21, 2026 5:59 am Not that you in particular shall hammer, but suggest that no hammer shall be made for the moment seems
a bit suspicious.

I mean again, there is no (town) reason we absolutely needed to rush in to hammer that very moment, and taking a breath to wait before committing and losing the rest of the day while I still have and had questions and comments, you evidently still have stuff to say, and others do as well is totally fine. Hammering in that moment cuts off town from being able to have further discussions and potentially make further progress, going straight back into scum territory (night). I promise we are still able to hammer LC before the day is over lol, the day hasn't even lasted a week so far, town loses nothing by not immediately hammering unless you're concerned scum can day kill us five times since we weren't quick enough. Can't tell what you're missing or trying to misinterpret about that.
So if I'm understanding this correctly, you thought in hindsight 20/20, Charle's claim was so damning, that we should have just straight lynched him immediately, even though Traf himself didn't vote for him (D1), made a catchup post (D2) still chose not to vote anyways. Here we are now, in a pretty similar situation with a player that says he's vanilla, but also has a power in knowing there are 3 scum, that's it. I can tell you right now, we definitely have a Wallflower townie/vanilla going on here, and a Scholarship Boy/Kid whatever is just weak claim altogether.

You yourself have said that Charle was so obvious and we should have just lynched him immediately, but here we are, full circle, drawing out the day for what I believe to be obvious scum, you clearly think he's more than likely to flip scum, but are choosing instead to draw it out. So I'm a little confused.

I'm totally fine grilling Dev, but I'm also not against someone hammering LC and getting this day over with. I think there's enough information currently to go into D4 comfortably.

By that - Townies are:
Djf, Kingm (Max), hjelp (all claimed wallflower)
and Dev if Maffias don’t vote on themselves.

And so Mafias are Kong (Traf) and Homer.

Anyhow, if we lynch wrong and a Mafia kill then there will be four players left which of two can be Mafias.
Therefor I think it’s about time that all players do their claims. We can’t put anyone at L-2 without the risk of lynch since six players left.
