Re: Line of Duty Mafia game - DAY 3
Strike - DJfireside by wide consensus
Hjelp because of the pattern - they are scum and DJ + Hjelp followed brilliant ballsy Ragian; and besides this pattern:
Djfireside — Top suspect for literally everyone on the page.
Why scum? Extremely low activity + zero substance on D3 (“don’t have anything of importance to add”, “don’t have anything special to clear myself yet”). Vague, wagon-jumpy earlier, defended by Ragian in ways that look like partner protection. Classic scum “hide in the noise” play when town is coordinating well. Multiple players (me, Kingm, hjelp, annieh, Traf) list him as #1 or #2..
strike wolf — Near-universal #2 suspect.
Why scum? Consistent quiet/lurky play, minor vote inconsistencies, and “scum vibes” even when he does post (sinus infection excuse noted but not fully buying it). Listed in almost every 4-scum theory. Town players repeatedly say he’s the “obvious” one to start the barrel-shooting with. Strike knows all too well his game is over.
Ragian — The “active scum” slot. It makes no sense he is still alive if town and why again is he scum? :
Pushes a suspicious Kong lynch right after Traf tracks Kong to SoN!c (trying to misdirect off a real protector).
Undermines cleared townies (questions Charle/SoN!c despite evidence).
Selective suspicion lists that hedge and avoid naming real partners.
Defensive tone + soft protective role hint that feels manufactured to look townie.
Early D1 aggression (classic scum overplay) + continued “high-level” misdirection.
And Rag is a great mafia player who knows the game is over when all the scums are exposed.
hjelp — The 4th slot (closes the pool).
Why scum? Backup PR claim (activates on visit??) feels convenient/timing-based. Pushes certain narratives, coordinates votes in ways.
Scum are doing the classic split — two lurkers (DJF + Strike) + two active misdirectors (Ragian + Hjelp)
The “shooting fish in a barrel” metaphor i keeps using is accurate guys. Djfireside, strike wolf, Ragian, and hjelp are the 4 scum.
Ragian's scum playstyle in this Line of Duty game is classic "active narrative controller" – the experienced, high-volume, socially aggressive scum who doesn't lurk but instead tries to steer the thread through long, structured posts, forced tunnels, selective mechanical misdirection, and subtle partner protection. He is not the quiet type (like DJfireside or strike wolf in this game); he's the one who looks like he's "solving" while actually manufacturing doubt in the real town clears and PR chain.
If anybody has a better theory on FOUR scums - not the easy no brainer on 2 scums - then post your ideas.
While waiting on that

Re: Line of Duty Mafia game - DAY 3
Ragian isn't sloppy. He builds plausible cases that fit the facts but lead town exactly where scum wants (doubt real clears, dilute focus on lurky partners). It's the "looks townie on paper, poisons the well in practice" playstyle – very dangerous in endgame when town is coordinating well. In a 4-scum team with two lurkers (DJF + strike) and one other active (hjelp), Ragian is the scum engine and scum master mind with Strike as his consigliere.

Re: Line of Duty Mafia game - DAY 3
All this and King Cod is cleared because of the lowering the vote count needed?
That's not enough, mate. Secret mysterious no-history-having King Cod should stay in the conversation.
As far as 4 theories, it depends on if Kong played a role block visit or a Dr visit. For today, I can accept it as a Dr visit when we have these two reasonable options for a vote. Beyond that I'm hoping things will be clearer in the morning. Tomorrow's ground is too uncertain for plans and all that.

Agree with everything that Annieh said. King Cod is not cleared, but for today let's just agree on who we vote Dj or Strike
Re: Line of Duty Mafia game - DAY 3
This is funny too. If it's the case - you're saying that I shall be inactive and thereby Town ?
Re: Line of Duty Mafia game - DAY 3
I hate being called King Cod
And I feel annieh is not okay (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_D3VFfhvs4).
I think she is still a bit sus about King 1.0 from that kings D1 play, but did I end up lying with King 1.0?
Different convo all together, still not have had time to read everything, but lets fire this up, lets at least get a claim I feel.

Kingm couldn't "end up lying" because he started out lying. He lied the absolute first opportunity he had.
Current Cod inherited a completely absent, and therefore scummy, role. Plus I know he stole my lighter to go climb around in the vents our first day.

Re: Line of Duty Mafia game - DAY 3
I do think everyone should be giving full top suspected scum list so we have more information for reads beyond other information revealed. Also, is there a reason everyone keeps mentioning four scum slots? I don't think this is something to fixate on and it seems like a reasonable number, but I wasn't able to find if that's a guaranteed number by mod rules, or if someone just said it first and all others implicitly accepted it. For what it's worth, I looked up standard mafia to town ratio for 15 players and supposedly the standard would be 3 scum and 12 town so I would like to know why there's so much confidence in it being four scum (or if I simply missed something.)
With that said, I think we should operate as if there's four scum regardless. Currently 11 alive. Sonic is mod confirmed, and by proxy dev is apparently mod confirmed as well (maybe small chance of misdirection if it's simply a result received, but sounds like it was just that new dev was named and explicitly confirmed clear). Charle was also the one to mod clear sonic and I'd suspect dev as well, so he should functionally be confirmed town as well. That is a solid core 3 of confirmed town, though I suspect scum will have to kill at least one tonight. I have or had some sort of role which is confirmed by Traf, presumably protection related and made the correct and logical visit for someone town aligned with my power, although if scum had a role blocker role (which I don't think there's been any evidence for, but always is something to be wary of) they could also have wanted to visit sonic. Traf and Ragian have both claimed a tracking related role, and both have been able to prove that somewhat with tracking results, although only Traf received cop clear. 80/90% Traf is clear as town until any evidence comes up that cop could reasonably have been wrong/sabotaged somehow.
It's worth noting that this seems to be a relatively power heavy game, and anyone under suspicion is incentivized to claim at least some sort of role as it's very easy to default to the lynch of someone who is left under suspicion by the nature of the game state and also claiming vanilla town. annieh strike djfireside hjelp and king cod are all part of this leftovers group who will want to avoid being lynched however they can. I believe annieh has claimed some sort of protective adjacent role, and hjelp some sort of backup role, don't believe there's been anything concrete from the rest of them, but I don't think any game information has been confirmed about any of them one way or another.
With that all said, I think king cod's stated aim of getting a claim is pretty meaningless. All five mentioned above will likely try to claim something if under pressure of lynch, but I really don't think that should be much of a factor in deciding to lynch unless they have something concrete confirming anything or a bluff too good to ignore (which I would find hard to believe at this stage of the game and with all the other roles already exposed.)
I think djfireside is relatively suspicious and also has nothing favouring him as town, so I'm not against lynching him. I do think it's slightly suspicious that he can be an accepted candidate by so many people at least some of which are certainly scum, but I think it's pretty reasonable to say scum has to make plays to seem town and engage in cannibalism at this stage so I don't particularly think that discounts him as scum either. Would like to hear more from him before day's end though, and we definitely need more discussion first before I'm prepared for a lynch of any kind. I also have Ragian as likely scum. He doubled up as having the exact same power and niche as Traf in tracker, rather than simply being a sibling investigative role, and even if he tries to adapt it some to appear different it feels unlikely to have two players using the exact same power on the exact same night, and both also being town. Feels more like a rival duelists type of situation. He's also tripped some warning bells with me on his behaviour, and I think he was overplaying his hand in trying to back up the scum-favourable narrative first questioned by Traf in voting for a probable protective role. I don't think town Ragian ever goes first for the risky and potentially game-losing target, even if suspicion of all remaining possibilities is still needed. Probably still wouldn't vote him first for lynch though barring further information, as he could still come up with some useful information from whatever his role is (and whether it's town or scum lie both still tell us something), and there are less risky targets. I have strike wolf as being in a similar situation to djfireside, he's came across as relatively scummy to me, and also is in the same unenviable boat of having no external information giving us anything to think he's not scum. With the known information and amount of scum left, he's also probable scum. Hjelp is similar to strike, with the slight modifier of apparently having some sort of backup role? Haven't been super impressed by him, but I would love to know what exactly the qualifications for said backup role claim are before any lynch is made on him, though I'm not sure that it would alleviate my suspicions of him.
Outside of those top 4, I'd rate annieh as slightly less scummy than king cod right now. There's no concrete evidence in favour of either currently, but I could conceivably believe annie could have the useful role she's soft claimed to have, and I don't put much stock in the townish mod introduction vote count thing to clear king cod. Only real difference maker for now is I didn't think king's stated aim of getting a claim in voting djfireside is super meaningful at this stage.

Re: Line of Duty Mafia game - DAY 3
First Ill address the elephant in the comments. Do I look scummy? Yes, I dont have anything really redeeming to provide and have tried to help where I can but I made a mistake in my judgement and admitted it so I will take the backlash cause it hurt but will still do all I can to help town. Since I am town, every guilty person says that, Ill try to help the best way I can. I thought I was doing my part at least on D1 but life did get me lately.
I started writing this reply yesterday, problem with long posts is once you start you have to refine and finish them and boom and unfortunately as I noted, Im pretty busy otherwise and tried to drop in but I have no real active power and was just watching but curious of late on Hjelp and Sonic.
However it appears that the people want to know and truly I wont be a target since im at the top of the lynch list anyways. I have no name and I think my charecter has seen some stuff but Im town and I have a two part role which is why I was curious on what Hjelp was doing and as noted if you think its best to use my power to gain information im all good helping and bringing information. If I am brought to L1, I will disappear and be able to perform a true reveal at night but will die. If I am killed at night, I reveal who gave the order.

Sonic: I am confused about the Mod Message for the main reason that we do not have a source of the message. Previous message we someone claiming ownership, do you have any idea on where its origin came from.

D1 Ragian, Annie,Homerjay, Kongming3
D2 Annie,Traf,,Help, HomerJay, Charle, Devante, Sonic
I noticed that Annie was on both lynch pushes of town but then again so was Homer but leaving what i can for now.

My reasoning there was it was ending the day D1; King was the push but there was no real momentum and Annie switched votes to try for an inactive kill but when that failed; changed their vote BACK to king when, if aligned, they could have just played lazy and left their vote where it was to further stall the push on King. Since Annie returned, they we not mafia aligned one may but not both.hjelp wrote: Fri Apr 10, 2026 2:27 pm
This one is a bit strange - how can Djfireside know they are not aligned ?
Djfireside wrote: Fri Mar 13, 2026 1:59 pm ...
3) Annie unvoted King to Vote Cod as an inactive push and returned to vote King despite the ease of just leaving their vote on COD and letting the day end. if aligned with King, they wouldnt have returned it so figured at that point they were both not mafia, 1 could be but not both.
...
Hjelp: Now im more confused on your role. I have an activation role as well but if yours is visiting and you can move to people you have to have a reasoning and some subtext that provides some information.hjelp wrote: Fri Apr 10, 2026 3:28 pmI visited Charle N1 and strike wolf N2. Re: Line of Duty Mafia game - DAY 3
Feels like we’re finally getting somewhere!
Strike Wolf now claims a Watcher role on top of everything. I already thought two Tracker/Watcher claims (Traf and Ragian) were a bit much, but at least those have substance.
TrafalgarLaw01 is fully cleared as the real Tracker. His results have been publicly verified and he was even cleared by the Cop.
Ragian has also delivered correct track results that line up with known Town actions (though he lacks the extra Cop clear - he could be a scum watcher, because as a bent coppers game i would include that role anyday).
Strike Wolf, however, has zero verification.
His claim now is that he saw Kong and Devante visit me last night.
But we already knew Kong visited me (he’s the Doctor and openly said he was protecting me). We also knew Devante visited because I publicly received the Cup of Tea from him.
Strike is simply repeating publicly available information and presenting it as his investigative result. There is literally no new, checkable info in his claim.
A real Town Watcher with relevant information this important would have shared it earlier — not waited until he was under heavy pressure as a top suspect.
@Strike Wolf: If you’re claiming Watcher, please also post your Night 1 results (if they add anything useful). If this is fabricated, you’ll either have to lie or dodge the question.
I’m really in favor of putting Strike Wolf as the N°1 lynch candidate now.
If he is Mafia (and most possibly a mafia Role Blocker who visited me Night 2), then all the puzzle pieces fit together perfectly.

Are we going to ask Current Cod anything about their role?
Looking for confirmation from Devante II that they sent that cuppa. That would mean the Cofari/Riskmaster coin flip was between vanilla townie and good neighbor tea guy.

I will put strike wolf at the top.
About strike wolf
- The last information - "I saw Kong and Devante visit Son!c last night. Use that info as you will." - is a convenient statement based on already known "facts".
- Moreover, the explicit announcement - quick N1 action sent. But no information of the action N1 is given.
- Finally, there is a strong "evidence" that Devante is townie and still doubts regarding the "fact".

Re: Line of Duty Mafia game - DAY 3
Come on Son!c youre tunneling. You know very well that Ive always come down on the side of keeping info until im sure it will benefit town. Ive never given out info earlier. As far as Night 1, I tried to visit Ragian and thus got no results because my action was blocked. So like I said early in the day, I dont have anythingnthat can prove my actions. I will say I was technically called a beat cop in PM not a watcher.

What I mean is you power how does it work. Like i can only find out about one player per night. Ragian could see who visited him. But how do you got info about two players?
Re: Line of Duty Mafia game - DAY 3
Whoa... There's been a lot happening over the weekend. I have to catch up. I just need to address the last post here while catching up because I fear that there's some pronoun ambiguity. What are you saying that I could do and when?

Re: Line of Duty Mafia game - DAY 3
Ugh...I've also had some oversights reading through D3, I think. If I've missed anything relevant in this post, please point it out to me.
@Annie, regarding the cop's sanity, you can have games in which a cop's reliability (often unbeknownst to the cop herself) is shaky. You can read about it here. I'd suggest that the reason LC added the stuff about the Arnott's sanity is to give a clue that if he got a result wrong, it would be because of outside tampering and not him being naive, insane, or any third option. Unfortunately, given homer's death, it's only relevant in relation to Traf. What it could suggest is that Traf could be scum that shows up as innocent (like a Godfather), but him being a tracker, I don't think that makes sense. I think Son!c touched upon the topic, too.
I think there's been too many allusions to "ballsy" "things" enough already
I know I started it. SORRY!

Several have alluded to my role, which I've kept deliberately vague (for reasons that should be apparent), so I'll just reiterate what I hoped was already clear. I'm not a tracker. I had a tracking ability. I didn't track N2. I performed an action that yielded no result. If the people in my town pool (see below) want me to disclose what I did, I will disclose it even if it doesn't matter as I understand it can be important evidence later in the game.
Town pool
- Traf (cop cleared)
- Son!c (letter of the law)
- Devante (not sure I completely understood that, but the two townies go for it and it seemed mod confirmed)
- Charle (uncountered Hastings)
- Annie (genuinely trying to work this out and applies much needed brains for this operation)
- Ragian (I would put myself on top - as it were - but I don't have the luxury of confirmation just yet)
Possible scum (prioritised)
- Kong (I'm convinced here based on all the stuff that I've mentioned till blue in the face)
- DJF (his play has done nothing to convince me he's town)
- Hjelp (I feel like he's playing as when he won last time - untangible claim and only following rather than leading)
- King Cod (I'm less certain here because there's nothing to go on...)
- Strike (I can't see him offer up what he did if scum...he's too good...I know that's meta only).
I'm just waiting on the mod before doing anything with my vote.

I could only track once, yes. I did an action last night but alas to no avail. Do you still want to know? And why?SoN!c wrote: Thu Apr 09, 2026 3:45 pm @Ragian: who did you track / watch N2 (or are you gonna say you are a 1 shot tracker?)
This is terrible
Yeah, my voting Kong hinges on you watching him visit Son!c who could provide hard cover, but is also based on circumstantial evidence such as the fact that scum went for homer despite him most likely being protected (which warranted need for a roleblock), the fact that kong says that he protected Son!c because Son!c asked for it (no way a seasoned player takes orders written out in the forum for scum to tamper with), and the nature of my role (as well as Annie's it seems). But if you're not even going for it despite having caught him red-handed, how am I to convince everyone else?TrafalgarLaw01 wrote: Fri Apr 10, 2026 11:15 pm Hmmm scum has been doing a good job hiding.
I see Rag's theory it was my theory, that scum knew the kill would go through. That's why i thought Kong blocked Sonic (Which we all thought was gonna protect Homer), also he said he protected him cause Sonic asked to (Which unless u have an investigative role, u should not follow that).
But I would be hesitant to vote a possible doctor today.
I completely agree that no way King Cod is cleared. I also agree that there is not to be laid out plans in the forum.annieh wrote: Sat Apr 11, 2026 4:32 pm All this and King Cod is cleared because of the lowering the vote count needed?
That's not enough, mate. Secret mysterious no-history-having King Cod should stay in the conversation.
As far as 4 theories, it depends on if Kong played a role block visit or a Dr visit. For today, I can accept it as a Dr visit when we have these two reasonable options for a vote. Beyond that I'm hoping things will be clearer in the morning. Tomorrow's ground is too uncertain for plans and all that.
I would unvote to align myself with the rest of town as I've laid out my suspicions of kong, but it seems futile as my vote on kong isn't even tallied. Could the mod please confirm or deny that the mod has seen my vote, so that I can figure out if this is a mod oversight or if someone has messed with my voting ability overnight, please?Loose Canon wrote: Sun Apr 12, 2026 1:53 am Current Vote Count
DJFireside 3 - Snoic, Kingm, Annie
Hjelp1 - DJFireside
This all looks damning: No results N1 and already corroborated results N2, but I can't see Strike - one of the best in here - claim all of that as scum. It has my scumdar all fudged up. And I can kinda see his frustrations with the game. I'd vote DJF over Strike if forced (but I'd prefer to vote Kong) if my damn vote counts.strike wolf wrote: Sun Apr 12, 2026 7:50 pm Come on Son!c youre tunneling. Re: Line of Duty Mafia game - DAY 3
I'm sorry if I'm being paranoid about this, but I could totally see vote stealing or similar being part of the setup given the flavour.
