Yes the majority, who wrote the budget they wanted are the ones who should be held accountable for borrowing more, spending more and dramatically increasing the deficit. You know the ones who as you put it are guilty of:
1) fiscal mis-management,
2) excessive spending.
3) electing too many republicans who CONTROL the Federal Budget and have trouble with 1) and 2)
4) fraud and waste is very likely, but their Leaders do not want to address THAT.
5) The MAGATS want to have rallies, pass more crazy laws, hide criminals in The White House, chase away allies, and allow Trump to generally destroy the future of American hegemony in a little over a decade long political career.
And as you pointed out, in 2025 republicans bypassed the filibuster via reconciliation and passed the current budget with increased spending, increased borrowing without the need of any democrat votes. This isn't something that has been done on a bill of this scale prior to this, and republicans did it so they could have the bill they wanted. So yes, spend another 30 min asking AI to find creative ways to blame democrats for all this.

1) bailed out Blue states of some or much of their massive deficits; and
2) allowed a HUGE tax deductions for HUGE taxes paid by the citizens of Blue (Liberal Democrat) States, like CA, NY, IL, NJ, MA, and MN.
Such actions are part of the problem, but I am SURE Mookie will not even acknowledge any responsibility and accountability for ANY of THIS.

Chuck Schumer claims victory over DHS NON funding, the MAIN Job of Congress TO FUND the Government; he did not get either of his chief demands for ICE: NO Masks and judicial approval, but will CLAIM CREDIT as he CANNOT or will not accept responsibility for his SECOND SCHUMER shut down and the second time TSA workers had to go WITHOUT PAY. Schumer will likely take credit for the firing of two Cabinet members. Well Done, Chuckie.

Congress needs to get OFF their ASS and deal with the fiscal mess that they help create. They need to get serious first about FRAUD and that is a good start. They need to negotiate TOUGH deals and stop relying on Continuing Resolutions that merely keep spending on current programs and up the spending for ... just because. THEN the DEMOCRATS will HOWL if the percentage of INCREASE is cut from 4% to 3% (for example), as if the children go hunger and Grandma cannot get or Social Security Check as they APPEAL to EMOTION and IGNORE the facts. PURE SILLINESS.

AND the increase in Gas prices is temporary, as nearly all this is driven by the US-Iran conflict and Iran threatening to sink tankers in Strait of Hormuz. Once the conflict is over, gas and fuel price will drop significantly. And do not forget to factor in the increase in prices due to the switch to the summer blends.
The budget mess is so HUGE that EVERYONE in the Governement is responsible: Congress and the the President, both Democrats AND Republicans. The Dems HOWL when Trump and DOGE tried to make a few MINOR CUTS. That did not accomplish enough as there was TOO much:
1) blame,
2) failure to accept accountability,
3) not wanting to make ANY meaningful budget cuts, and
4) not wanting to disturb the status quo over the FEAR of losing votes.
THOSE are some of the FUNDAMENTAL problems here, and NO, I did NOT copy and paste ANY of that.
Hence my post and my attempt to be more civil toward certain persons, at least for a few days.
