i thought when you were stripped, you had to pay to get it back, after your suspension was up. so, you are telling me that in all the point dumping cases we have had, that when they are GUESTed, they get their premium back after the suspension? i just don't believe that is true. you made that comparison, so maybe it was just a poor comparison. i literally have been led to believe that when you are stripped, you have to buy back in.
which is one of the largest complaints this site has ever had from forum goers. forum goers get Guested, lose their premium for words they posted, get banned for a week or 6 months or whatever, then have to buy back in to gain their premium. Game users break the first rule of the site, get premium stripped and can buy right back in and keep playing without a significant vacation from the game.
anyway, you were on the team, so that is literally news to me, if it is accurate. not saying you are wrong, i have just never heard this before. really interesting if that is how it is done...-Bj
There should be a difference between a Forum and Site bans. Forum bans will keep their premium (To my knowledge again). You just lose access to the Inbox/Forum/Wall. They can/could still create as many games as they wanted. (Such as the case was t-o-m, and a few others that had received Perma bans from the forums, but were still Premiums).
Regarding site bans (Mostly results from Major infractions, as well as SD and PD get site bans too). Most Point Dumping bans are a Permaban. I don't remember an instance where one resulted in just a one month ban. The only thing I could think of is if it was out of their control. I know a few were able to come back after sending an eTicket asking to be reinstated. But in that case, their premium had already been expired, so it never came into effect. But if you are on a Site ban, you cannot purchase premium to re-up your account to premium. It's been awhile since I've modded, but if you were to do that, to my knowledge, that purchase would basically stack upon your previous purchase. So if your premium was to expire Jan 1, 2017, it would up it to Jan 1, 2018. It didn't just erase your site ban.
I remember knowing when a member came back from a site ban by spotting them with premium, and it usually coincided with the length of their ban (1 day, 1 week, 1 month).
