Rook and nogaman [Cleared]

Postby Hatchman on Sun May 27, 2007 5:42 am

suspected users: Rook and nogaman

Game 429754

http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=429754#gmtop

Rook and nogaman have been working in unison the entire game, but never conversing in chat. They rarely attack each other, and often complement or miror each other's moves. At this point, Rook is so confident that nogaman will not attack him that he has left 1 army on Galway against nogaman's 16 and moved everything north.

I don't really see any evidence of collusion. In a 3 player game there will always appear to be an alliance as the two weaker players should always concentrate on the strongest. As to the 16 against 1, red can't defend that anyway so might just as well leave a 1 on it.

Yeah my best mate agrees with you. But I am no stronger than green, so why is red defending only against me? I guess I am perplexed

Yes I do. I'm in 40 games now, and I've almost completed 400. I don't know where you get your information from…

Yeah i wasn't referring to anyone named areyouincahoots LOL. That was sheer coincidence. The players I'm questioning here are Rook and nogaman.

If I'm wrong in my suspicions, I apologize to both these players. But I have a very strong gut feeling. The entire game has seemed quite fishy and quite well-orchestrated from their end, but in a very covert way.

Well, I read the game chat, and if they are teaming up against you, they do it quite well. It wouldn't surprise me if they are, but it wouldn't surprise me if they aren't.

As they've only played one other game together, and in it Rook took out nogoman first, I'm leaning towards no. I think you have a game of coincidences.

Impossible to say if anything is underhand as this sort of thing will always happen in 3 player game and the border move actually makes sense to me. As I repeatedly have told you its time for you to move on and play big boy escalating games - we never cheat :)
