Just wanted to put it all together in one neat package, make you own decisions all but to me and the other people that have spoken up above this seems very clear cut.

So between 14:32 and 15:19 ISN2 played 4 games, and took well over 20 turns in those 4 games as well as others. But still managed to get back into my game and start his turn at the exact second I decided to start my turn? Anyone with a brain can look at this and see that something is wrong. When you catch multiā€™s are you 100% sure or is it common sense? When you catch people for secret diplomacy are you 100% sure or is it common sense. I haven't seen ES ask anyone if they were 100% sure before, this was a new development. Lets take B0000045084 (not his actual user name) any ? he plays against he reports. Does he get this kind of treatment?

GAME IN QUESTION
2012-02-07 14:32:34 - ISN2 ended the turn and got spoils
2012-02-07 14:32:34 - Incrementing game to round 8
2012-02-07 14:32:39 - ISN2: gg

ISN2 gg's right after his turn is taken. I thought this was curious so I waited an hour thinking to myself that something was off. 1 second after I start my turn ISN2 starts his. Coincidence? maybe...but considering that he had been playing 4 other games taken over 20 turns in those games and others it seems highly unlikely.

Game 10574968 <----------------------------------Game in between turns showing he wasn't holding down B
2012-02-07 14:36:19 - Game has been initialized
2012-02-07 14:43:17 - Corum1234567 won the game

2012-02-07 14:46:45 - ISN2 ended the turn and got spoils <--------another game he was playing the whole time as well.

Game 10575065 <----------------------------------Game in between turns showing he wasn't holding down B
2012-02-07 14:50:03 - Game has been initialized
2012-02-07 14:56:23 - ISN2 won the game

2012-02-07 14:57:59 - ISN2 ended the turn and got spoils <--------another game he was playing the whole time as well.

Game 10575099 <----------------------------------Game in between turns showing he wasn't holding down B
2012-02-07 14:59:03 - Game has been initialized
2012-02-07 15:10:51 - ISN2 won the game

2012-02-07 15:02:20 - ISN2 ended the turn and got spoils<--------another game he was playing the whole time as well.

2012-02-07 15:12:43 - ISN2 ended the turn and got spoils<--------another game he was playing the whole time as well.

2012-02-07 15:19:12 - ISN2 won the game <------Game in question

Game 10575283 <---------------------------------Game started 1:36 seconds after
2012-02-07 15:20:56 - Game has been initialized

This is not a smoking gun but he would still have to be fairly quick to get into this one. Also want to point out that the other games he joined in between were 3 or 4 minutes after the games he had just finished not the 1:36.

Take a qtip, get rid of the cotton, put the ends of the qtip under the space bar and g or h key while pressing b.

How do you play other games with a qtip stuck in the middle of your keyboard? Guess you didn't read the rest of the thread eh...

Sorry, I normally don't read long posts, or long threads.

Interesting...

I guess we should try to replicate it by leaving a computer logged in with the 'b' key pressed down and logging in in another computer and try to play other games..

I have no idea if this is possible... wait, maybe it was already answered in this same thread.. I didn't read the rest of the thread before posting again...

Anyways, I felt like typing.

Yes it is possible. I have never ever done this so I wouldn't know for sure. Also, it can't be proven 100% so I guess it doesn't matter. According to the mods I am inno.

I think that if you log on to another computer you're other account (the one with the qtip) will time out.

Well, doesn't really matter at this point, ES has already made his decision even though it was rushed, and inaccurate.

I have asked mods to look again at a case when they decided it quickly. It was reopened and the verdict changed. I would suggest being polite about it and taking time to explain why you think the decision was wrong.

I too agree that this should be NOTED just in case this person is using a script and someone else complains down the road. Maybe this one case isn't enough for a warning, but if this is happening repeatedly, then the accused user will have some explaining to do.

I wouldn't be surprised if a mod comes through and gives this another look.

Cmon guys he is a computer program designer, etc.
He might have multiple computers, and refreshed the browser, and inserted a q-tip or whatever.
This wouldnt be considered abuse, or cheating. He still needs to work out a game and earn it.
Yes, he has an unfair advantage at that point if this is true.
OR maybe he created his own script, bravo, smart guy.

Work out a game and earn it? he would have lost that game had it not been for his autostart script. That was his method of winning, for me to win the game I would have had to kill 8 men with 25. I admit a three to one ratio isn't perfect but probably would have gone my way.

And are you saying he has an unfair advantage either way? or just if he had the script?

s3xt0y, what did you really think?

You thought that a brigadier would join your game, then in round 7 he would kill all the naturals for you and then says gg because you are going to win?

The final words first:
1. I didn't use any scripts (Here is a photo of my scripts: http://img694.imageshack.us/img694/3306/addonshq.jpg) ...
2. I didn't login at same time using 2 computers (Admins can check my login log) ...

And here something for you and others:

2012-02-06 14:16:12 - Incrementing game to round 2
2012-02-06 19:52:23 - ISN2 got bonus of 2 troops added to SA-2 (Alien Base)
2012-02-06 19:52:23 - ISN2 received 3 troops for 8 regions
2012-02-06 19:52:23 - ISN2 deployed 3 troops on SA-2 (Alien Base)
2012-02-06 19:52:25 - ISN2 ended the turn

2012-02-07 02:54:56 - Incrementing game to round 3
2012-02-07 04:40:30 - ISN2 got bonus of 2 troops added to SA-2 (Alien Base)
2012-02-07 04:40:30 - ISN2 received 3 troops for 8 regions
2012-02-07 04:40:31 - ISN2 deployed 3 troops on SA-2 (Alien Base)
2012-02-07 04:40:32 - ISN2 ended the turn

2012-02-07 06:03:33 - Incrementing game to round 4
2012-02-07 10:20:12 - ISN2 got bonus of 2 troops added to SA-2 (Alien Base)

2012-02-07 10:20:12 - ISN2 deployed 3 troops on SA-2 (Alien Base)
2012-02-07 10:20:14 - ISN2 ended the turn

2012-02-07 10:37:21 - Incrementing game to round 5
2012-02-07 10:40:39 - ISN2 got bonus of 2 troops added to SA-2 (Alien Base)
2012-02-07 10:40:39 - ISN2 received 3 troops for 8 regions
2012-02-07 10:40:39 - ISN2 deployed 3 troops on SA-2 (Alien Base)
2012-02-07 10:40:41 - ISN2 ended the turn

2012-02-07 10:43:45 - Incrementing game to round 6
2012-02-07 10:50:35 - ISN2 got bonus of 2 troops added to SA-2 (Alien Base)

2012-02-07 10:50:36 - ISN2 deployed 3 troops on SA-2 (Alien Base)
2012-02-07 10:50:37 - ISN2 ended the turn

And now look at here:
2012-02-07 10:59:34 - Incrementing game to round 7
2012-02-07 11:00:39 - ISN2 got bonus of 2 troops added to SA-2 (Alien Base)
2012-02-07 11:00:39 - ISN2 received 3 troops for 8 regions
2012-02-07 11:00:40 - ISN2 deployed 3 troops on SA-2 (Alien Base)
2012-02-07 11:01:25 - s3xt0y got bonus of 2 troops added to AF-2 (Alien Base)
2012-02-07 11:01:25 - s3xt0y received 3 troops for 8 regions
2012-02-07 11:01:27 - s3xt0y deployed 3 troops on AF-2 (Alien Base)
2012-02-07 11:01:29 - s3xt0y ended the turn

I played all my turns just in 2 seconds, why did I waited that round for you to play!!?

There are a lot of strategies/tactics or some people call them tricks in playing freestyle games.

I didn't wait there pressing B for 1 hour continuously, but ...

I tried playing speed games there so you could see that I'm playing some other games and start your turn, that's something I do myself, starting my turn in a freestyle game when I see my opponent is playing in another game or based on his timezone guessing he is offline ...

But in our case, when I was playing other games, your game tab was just open beside the other game tab and all I needed to do was to press CTRL+TAB+B every few seconds without even watching the game and then again CTRL+TAB to get back on my speed game (This exactly takes 1 second to be done), that was a good strategy for our game since it would take you something like 10 seconds to break my winning condition and with my technique there was a huge chance to get you before it ...

Also keeping B pressed while between speed games in our game was something casual which had a result ...

BTW you even failed for looking on my other games and didn't start when I was playing!
You had 12 fucking hours to play and just played withing 1 hour? I've seen players starting their turn right after you even after 2-3 and even 4 hours ...

You aren't a freestyler, I would even sometimes put minutes of time to check other games of my opponent in same day of past weeks to see what time he gets online usually, so I could try leave and come back pressing B again when I know he may get online soon ...

I'm not going to explain all these strategies, just know that the freestyle is a huge world and has tens of strategies for winning, if you aren't good at it and have no clue on these strategies, you better not play it rather than accusing others ...

I don't see why it would be that hard to believe he would sit there maybe watching TV holding the button down. Unless you can give us some proof that he has a script he didn't break any rules. This is CLEARED.

What script? These don't exist...

Code: Select all
m::
; Coordmode, Mouse, Screen for manual relative click replacement
; click 957, 551
While GetKeyState("b", "P")
Loop,99^99^99
{
{
SendInput b
Sleep 500
}
}
Return

All I have to do with this script is add setfocus. Then I wouldn't have to use two computers, I could do whatever I wanted in the meantime. I also wouldn't need to use this script on any turn except the game winning turn. Also, as I am sure you know, this isn't a gm script and does not run within the browser. I can run it as a script through another program or compile this as an executable.

Code: Select all
m::
; Coordmode, Mouse, Screen for manual relative click replacement
; click 957, 551
While GetKeyState("b", "P")
Loop,99^99^99
{
{
SendInput b
Sleep 500
}
}
Return

Simply adding this bit of code give the game focus while sending b and still allows me to do whatever I want in my other game tab. If my game is not open, it opens chrome for me and allows me to select the game I would like to autostart.

Code: Select all
if WinExist("ahk_class Chrome_WidgetWin_0")
    WinActivate
else
    Run "C:\Users\**EDITED**\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe"
return

As previously ruled in the famous case Crybabies Vs KraphtOne "His turn starts immediately :cry: "

The verdict was: putting a weight on the keyboard is not against any rules.

Putting a weight on b button is an old trick a few free stylers use and CC says it's fine.

The point was that with my script, it isn't required to put a weight on the keyboard and you can continue playing at the same time.

Yeah it was a real genius script, so let's buy another PC, break rules of the site and play on one PC and run your script on another one to win just a game, lol ...

I guess you deserve an ACM's World Stage winning award for that script ...

EDIT: BTW, I would really love to see how it works, could we see a release? Since beginning the turn by a script is against the rules, maybe just the auto refresher one?

Get defensive much? So my argument is still valid, even if your popping in and out every couple seconds, It would still take some very impressive timing to jump right in as I had started my turn. Since there is no auto refresh even if you have a window open right beside it you wouldn't see anything. Oh and all the times you posted mean nothing...doesn't show anything aside from the fact that you took your turns before I took mine, anyone can deploy and end in two seconds. Yes you waited for "THAT" round to play because you knew that your autostart script would win it for you if you couldn't take the base with good dice.

So what you have accomplished from your monster post above was prove that you were not watching the game, but just "happened" to ctrl alt b at the exact second I started my game. I think that makes my case stronger. Either your timing is perfect or you have a script, you yourself have ruled out all the other possibilites now.

I ask that an MOD go over this a little more carefully than last time please.

Were you not paying attention? The script allows you to do whatever you want in another tab while autostarting the tab with your game. This doesn't require 2 computers...

He wasn't paying attention to what I posted either, since he told me to re-read the post. Your timing is all that is in question here. Even if you were pressing alt-tab-b or whatever over and over the timing is still fishy, 1 second after I started my turn. Plain and simple you would have to had perfect timing.

Lets do a little math say you alt-tab'd every 5 seconds, then you had a 1 in 6 chance of hitting me as I started my turn. The 6 comes from the 1 second you said it takes to alt-tab. Thats about 16%. Now lets factor in you taking turns etc etc and say you alt-tab'd every ten seconds then your at a 1 in 11 then your into a 9% possibility of hitting me at that exact second. See where I'm getting at here? Too many things would have to line up for you to hit at that exact second. Lets put it this way, if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and smells like bullshit, then its probably bullshit.

And posting that i'm not a freestyler and I don't take into account where people live and all that shit doesn't matter in the least. All it shows is you know all the tricks in the book. And that you would use any angle possible to win. I find it hard to believe that a web designer would have trouble understanding a simple little script like the one posted above. Playing stupid when we know you know what that code is really just supports my case more.

OH and your not a brig...

Would mods like an example of this by vimeo link? Not that I would use a script like this except as an example to prove to mods that you can't ever prove it was used...

You have to understand that freestyle is pretty much "anything goes". You learn the tricks, or you lose. I once proved that my opponent in a speed game started a split second after me, then ran out of time on that turn without even deploying, then started a split second after me the next turn (seconds after he ran out of time). Mods didn't care, because he said he used a weight, not a script, and that's fair game.

I will preface this with a statement: Mods, this is a SEQUENTIAL GAME that I used as AN EXAMPLE. This script of course would never be used by me again. Ever. It was just an example.

It was a sequential game. To be used as an example only.

But it's still same as putting weight on B!!! I thought you said you can start a turn while you are on another tab! Send Input of "b" key works only on focused window, if you are in Notepad, it would type lots of "b"s for you ...
TheGeneral2112 wrote:Were you not paying attention? The script allows you to do whatever you want in another tab while autostarting the tab with your game. This doesn't require 2 computers...

I didn't pull up another tab to show it, but sending keyboard focus to another tab is as simple as this. This code sends the characters to the first opened tab or starts chrome if chrome isn't already running.

Code: Select all
if WinExist("ahk_class Chrome_WidgetWin_0")
    WinActivate
else
    Run "C:\Users\**EDITED**\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe"
return
