Ok, I'll insiert later on some examples to clarify the different situations.
In all cases we take account:
1. number of points (2 points = battle of 5 games won).
2. number of games won (red part by josko).

This might however not be sufficient. Then at the end of phase 1, we will do again another table of standing taking into acount only the batles with the teams that have the same number of points and game won: usually it will simply be the result of the battle between the two teams with the same number of points and game won. In exceptional cases we might have perfect draw between 3 teams and then we will establish a ranking between them based only on the games between these three teams.

I hope this clarifies.

ok, I think I get it now. blue part is something like #3 in importance scale if tie breaker arises (behind red part, which is #2).

In phase 2, the 16 remaining teams will be placed in different groups depending on their score in the first phase : the 16 teams will be placed in order 1 to 16, according to the number of games won (and then according to registration order).
In group 1, we will have number 1,8,9
In group 2, we will have number 2,7,10
In group 3, we will have number 3,6,11
In group 4, we will have number 4,5,12
Within each group, each team will meet each other on 10 maps:
1. Classic escalating, sun
2. Poison Rome, no card, fog
3. Drugs war, no card, fog
4. Berlin 1961, no card, sun
5. Arms race !, escalating, fog
6. Holy roman empire, no card, sun
7. Egypt Nubia, no card, sun
8. Battle for Irak, escalating, fog
9. France, no card, sun
10. 8 thoughts, escalating, fog
After the 10 games “battle”, the winner will be credited with 2 points and the loser with 0 point. In case of draw (5-5), there will be one point for each team. Each team will play 20 games in this second phase. Invitation for 5 games will be sent every 10 days, or even every two weeks. Idea is to maintain the average game load at or below 5 active games at a time during phase 2 too. Phase 2 might well end in January or February 2012.
Same rules than for phase 1 will apply to determine who is first within a given group : number of points, then number of games won and then more complex rules with, as necessary, setting up of tie braker game.

Doesn't explain it to me. Indeed it seems to be quite confusing with the 16 and 12 references. But thats only going to phase 2, I'm asking about end of phase 2 as well (winners of each group?)

sorry I didn't understand this "from" phase 2. Indeed, in phase 2 there will be 3 teams in each group and only one will advance to the semi-final.

I"ll update the table of standing soon. I think all is settled now:
- Group A : ballenus steve066 & Nokelberry triple 6 move to next phase.

- Group C : denthefrog josko.ri move for sure and 95% for killboy108 briggs1209: it seems they're winning their last game which means they will have exactly the same number of points and wins than mkcummins dwilhelmi. As they won against mkcummins dwilhelmi they move on.
- Group D : danryan pander88uk and NanoTheGreat Deli move.
- Group E : Rodion drunkmonkey and theshiningsun donination move.
- Group F : dragon dor pascalleke / King_Herpes demonfork move.

We have to wait for all games to finish to establish the final table of standing and groups for phase 2.

I guess that by Friday almost everything will be decided.

Theres a problem with Group 3 scores. Nano/Deli only played 3 games against Killboy/Briggs. You have it down as a tie 2-2 we won that 2-1.
