Chelsea vs. Norwich (Week 3)Chelsea were still looking for there 1st point of the season as they hosted Norwich City. The game took a moment to start but after that Norwich were showing all the initiative and nearly found the net but Holt narrowly failed to connect with an inviting cross from Wes Hoolahan. After the break, both sides seemed reluctant to provide us with the entertainment of the first half but Norwich soon finished where they left off when Holt scored after a hilarious (pun intended) gaffe from keeper Hilario (pictured), in the 49th minute. This though seemed to wake up the Chelsea attack who soon equalised in the 58th minute with Jose Bosingwa's stunning 25-yard shot. Chelsea continued to show dominace in the second half but never came close to putting a winner in. Full-time score Chelsea 1-1 Norwich.
Newcastle vs. Fulham (Week 3)Fulham have had a solid start to the season but will it continue? Clint Dempsey gave Fulham some hope that it would when he headed in Danny Murphy's free-kick in the 9th minute. Steve Sidwell provided the next goal in the 18th minute from a header and team-mate Murphy followed suit in the 27th minute to make the scoreline 3-0. Duff made it 4-0 with an impressive run early on in the second half. Chris Baird smacked a fine long-range shot to show that despite being to Ukraine and back Fulham were showing no signs of tiring. A clever one-two from Dempsey and Duff broke the Newcastle defense and allowed Dembele to strike and to tally up a sixth. While the Newcastle fans were leaving, Fulham rounded off the match with a Sidwell scoring his second goal; from a free-kick. Full-time score Newcastle 0-7 Fulham
Tottenham vs. Man City (Week 3)Spurs were fighting at the wrong end of the table and Man City were with the front runners vying for the Premier League title. Despite what was a stake for both teams, neither showed any promise. Failing to reach the opposition's final third for a start
. After a dismal first half, the crowd expecting something better from both sides in the second. This however didn't happen, and the only real chance was Dzeko missed a toe-poker from close range. Full-time score Tottenham 0-0 Man City.
West Brom vs. Stoke (Week 3)Two mid-table clubs who would like to move into contact with the front runners before they got too far away. However, neither side seemed to want to have the ball never mind win
so the scoreline remained 0-0 in the first half. In the second half Stoke had a weak attack but it came to nothing and so did the full-time score 0-0
Man Utd. vs. Arsenal (Week 3)Both sides were pre-season favourites but none of them seemed to have found what was required from them. Shortly after kick off, we realised neither of them still have
. Man Utd had a weak attack in the first half but didn't show any promise for the rest of the game. Arsenal's young boys hadn't got out of bed until the second half but did show some attacking quality and came close when Theo Walcott had a shot on goal but it just went over.
