Yes, God bless America, and screw everyone else right?

What I would like to know is what relevance the sexual orientation of the devil has. If I'm reading the accusation correctly, and I'm trying to read between the incoherence. Panzy = homosexual devil. Which in the accusers eyes is a worse thing than a hetrosexual devil. So the thread starts with the accuser insinuating that a homosexual devil is worse/more evil/more of an insult than an asexual or hetrosexual devil. Startling knowledge of demonic sexuality eh?

So C&A mods, are we any closer to a list of naughty words? :P

"Panzy" (I know the spelling as "pansy") is not vulgar or objectively offensive in the least. It means weakling or coward, and does mean the same thing as f*****, not by a longshot.

Well as GeneralRisk pointed out you all decide to use the 3rd meaning, according to Webster, as an offense.

I myself take offense to your calling me and other Americans a "yank". THAT IS A SLUR and a FLAME..............

yank Noun. An act of masturbation. Male usage. E.g."Oh God! I just walked in on Martin having a yank."

It has a non-offensive definition which was contextually appropriate for the situation. By contextually appropriate, you can't say someone is acting like a "f*****" and say later you meant a pile of sticks because that doesn't make sense, but you can call someone a "pansy" and say you mean a timid man considered unassertive, as opposed to saying they are homosexual and meaning it in a bigoted context.

This makes no difference to the mods. Pansy is a bigoted word, just as much as fag is. Expect both to be warned for bigotry (unless Evil Semp is on the case, in which case he'll obviously only rule on whatever he happens to find offensive, without caring about what anyone else does).

Do you ever think before you post?

He did not call him a "fog" he called him a "f.g" which can be construed to mean "fag." Does it really make any sense to be called "fog"? What does that even mean?

Pansy is not nearly as offensive as "fag" and should not be warnable.

There you go again deciding what is and isn't offensive. CC are quite clear that homosexual slurs are bigoted (even though CC clearly doesn't know the meaning of the word bigoted). Both of these are therefore bigoted and both warnable. Simple case :-)

Clan affiliations aside, I call them as I see them. I will admit I only popped in on the thread because Doom's name was the topic, but I come with an un-biased opinion, I assure you.

GR is an idiot who will at least get warned for offensive language and probably a spurious report . From what I see, Doom did nothing wrong, nothing against the rules at least.
