Journeys of Discovery – 3; Charles Darwin

Congratulations to Domicas who came through from second place to pip TheTrueNorth by 4 points in the final games; from Moonchild and xman5151 in 3rd and 4th places respectively

Charles Darwin (1809 – 1882) was an English naturalist who established his theory on natural selection after observing diverse animal species on a five year voyage aboard the Beagle.

We recreate his voyage, starting in England and calling at South America, The Galapagos Islands, Australia and Brazil before returning to the British Isles. In the same way that Darwin collected different species, you will collect points for each win; the fewer turns you win in; the more points you get.

Why do all these explorer fellows have long beards and glum expressions? pm me if you know - and I will include your answers here.

I probably need to spend the time to read this a second time but since I am off to work I will ask and check back later:

If you win in round 15 or greater you will receive no points but your number of wins will increase.

In the 6th round only the 4 players with the highest points totals will play the final set of games.

So this is only six rounds--15 rounds is not even possible, correct?
