Greasemonkey is a definite must for BOB when using Firefox. I'm not sure how things work with Google Chrome.

Is it normal to have negative troop numbers for the opponent before deploy in manual games?
Code: Select all
Leehar    0 Bonus Cards0     0 (0)    11 ( 31% )    11 (31%)-    6.67    0    (3 + 0 + 0) = 3    0    0
b~~~~    0 Bonus Cards0     0 (0)    -11 ( -31% )    11 (31%)-    -15.33    0    (3 + 0 + 0) = 3    0    0
Game Type: Standard      Initial Troops: Manual      Play Order: Sequential      Spoils: Escalating      Reinforcements: Chained      Fog of War: No

Nordic countries map.

Also, hover spoils still doesn't work :( Hunting nuke spots has become a real grind

Hover spoils works if you turn off color codes. Check over here: http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=528&t=127845&p=2813659#p2813629

My snapshots get deleted. This has been happening for at least a week, now... probably more.

In total, I have taken about 20-30 snaps during that time; they are gone by the time I return to the game for my next turn.

Hmm, there were a few occurences of this before. What seemed to be the problem there was that Firefox found its file to save its preferences corrupted, and used a backup of that file (without the new snapshots). If you don't close firefox the normal way, there is a higher risk of this happening if I remember correctly.

Version 5.1.0 should fix it again, so it works in both modes.

allows you to save a "snapshot" of what a game looked like at that certain point.. something you can go back and looking at with a click

useful for fog of war games.. team games

This new version makes games with a lot of chat unusable :(

I load a game (with many, many lines of team chat) - and firefox freezes until I close it.

Can you please make the chat snapshot an option - so that we can turn off the line-by-line chat parsing? Thank you!!

Naah, I think I'll try to make the parsing/replacing a bit faster (and you're right, it could be very slow). I've just uploaded a new version, could you check if this is fast enough?

Btw, for your information: Lack is gonna limit the chat lines to 50 in an update, and there will be a button 'show full chat', same mechanism as with the log. Maybe that will influence your script too.

Great, thank you! It works just fine now.

Ah.... yes, I think that will totally break my chatglove/chatsniffer script. :( Will this info (total number of game chat lines) be added to the API data?

Somehow, snapshots are not working! I took a snap of previous round in a dubs game, and when I try to see what happen to the two regions taken away from my partner, nothing is displayed!

I'm wondering if this ever got addressed or if you were needing more information.

I'm just not sure how you know when this action should occur.

Don't know if it has to do with your post, but I just noticed that now the elimination summary is no longer showing up when loading the full log of archived games. I've noticed it in a couple of tournament games where I'm trying to do point updates.

Hmm, I just tried to check this, and I noticed the round numbers weren't updated correctly. But the elimination summary showed up for me. Do you have game numbers so I can check those?

Alright, here's what I'm meaning. Take an archived game like Game 7306752. When you first open the game (without clicking load full log), you get this:
show

After clicking load game log, you get this:
show

I need the round numbers for when the players were eliminated, not just the order of elimination or the points won/lost. I hope that helps.

Reload the page. They are just a way to store the data from snapshot in chat line so each of your teammates can view it. Those are troop numbers and owner color coded in some way (base64?).

Not base64, A stands for 0, BA stands for 26 troops, c stands for 2nd player, ? stands for unknown player, unknown troops.

But Dako is right. If BOB is on, you shouldn't normally see those letters.

The show differences button doesn't seem to do anything. I have taken snapshots and the only way I can see anything is the old way.

nvm, I guess it is working, just not what I was thinking it would do. I was expecting it to pull up the last snapshot and show the differences. I like the feature. Would be awesome if you could get it to flicker between the snapshot and the current image. Just a thought, but I am sure you have plenty of things to worry about.
