Yeah, thought so but I wasn't sure if team II has signed up Sorry about it but we are true fanatics of our clan, can't fight without our name

As mentioned in the first post, we will play a qualifying round to get down to around 20 teams. Those teams will play a complete round robin, like the first two tournaments.

I did read that in the first post... but does that mean pretty much a whole tournament to see who makes the tournament? As in you are going to be running that many games just to see who can advance into the real thing? to me a round robin is everyone plays everyone... that is a looonnggg process just to see who can advance to play the real thing.
For example: If we end up with 28 teams, we may play a round with 7 groups of 4 teams, which will play each other once (round robin format), with the 3 teams with the best record going through to the main round (in that case we would end up with 21 teams in the main round).

just wondering why we could not just divide all teams into to groups each group plays every one in there own group and at the end the top 3 or 4 teams from both groups play every one the most points from that wins
so basically 2 tournaments and then a small 3rd tournament to decide the winner

We had a discussion about the various options in the previous tournament thread. The option you propose was the least popular, the most popular one was the one posted in the first post.
When we have the final number of teams I will post the final format and I'll give the teams the chance to bow out at that point if they do not want to stay in.
I wish I could please everybody, unfortunately that will not be the case.
