In my rereading of the last 15ish pages i realized that when the Duality BW happened that RE was against voting for the inactive player(duality) as he said that dual might be a pro town person(above quote). But in the Wercool BW he was the last 2-3 votes which hammered wer and only because of him being inactive.Suspicious to me

The people I would look at are UTalan and Gregwolf.
UTAlan only posted once while we were lynching vodean and it was weak post at that:
And greg's posts: 1 making excuses for Vodean and putting the wercool lynch on me, when I put wercool at L-2:

This is a post for the sake of posting. It contains nothing of value with a very weak FOS, why would you vote your scum buddy right?UTAlan wrote:I apologize for my inactivity lately - my email notifications got turned off somehow.
Anyway, I'm pretty new to these online mafia games. During Day 0, I had no clue who was bad, nor how to detect if someone was. The best I could do was vote for someone that had a number of votes on them already and had yet to defend themselves.
As far as Day 1 goes, I'm worried that we've lost 2 peasants already. I am going to wait a little longer on voting to make sure we don't lose the game too quickly, but based on vodean's posts, I think I have to FOS vodean.

these are the last three votes on the wercool lynchfrom the posts it looks like he was agreeing with you that inactivity stinks, which seems to be the reason that you voted for wercool, now vodean should have checked how many votes wercool had to see if his would be the number seven but i doubt that anyone would take the time to go back and check the votes themselvesRainbow Eater wrote:

Seems scummy to take an accusation against you and, instead of defending yourself, put blame on the person accusing you.

Re: Cuban Revolution Mafia. A sad day three.
im going to explain this once yes i thought that your involvement with the wercool lynch looked scummy but only after you went after vodean for a quick hammer when you had kind of started off the whole thing, and because you based your vote on that and that he had no reason to vote wercool, when from the posts it seemed that vodean was agreeing with your reason on voting wercool. and now that vodean is dead i realize that you were right to suspect vodean as scum but that doesn't mean that i completly trust you yet, i don't trust anyone besides myself because i don't know who is who. and besides helping to lynch one scum bag doesn't make it a federal offence to suspect you of being scum, i will suspect everyone of being scum, excepting myself and i will do so until they are dead and proven to be townRainbow Eater wrote:The people I would look at are UTalan and Gregwolf.

seems scummy you finally decide to post and be active in this game.

Or not? Maybe I'm just new to this and now that a few days have passed I'm starting to get the hang of it. You still have yet to defend yourself against my accusation. Why shouldn't we be suspicious of you when the cop was trying to get us to lynch you yesterday?Rainbow Eater wrote:UTAlan wrote:Seems scummy to take an accusation against you and, instead of defending yourself, put blame on the person accusing you.

Re: Cuban Revolution Mafia. A sad day three.
1) why would I press so hard to get vodean lynched if I was a scum?UTAlan wrote:Or not? Maybe I'm just new to this and now that a few days have passed I'm starting to get the hang of it. I could be the other faction trying to knock out a rival, I admit this is a possibility, but not true.
2) I am not new to playing mafia. why would I take THE ONLY PERSON besides a secret voter voting for me? That seems really stupid thing to do considering I had only 1 real vote on me. Unless you are assuming that I knew he was a cop, which is impossible. That would be the only reason to take him out and draw that much attention.
Here is the funny part to this: The other faction knows I am not part of them, and not part of Vodeans group because they know who they are and why would I kill one of my own. So they know I am town, which means if they are smart, they will vote for you to get rid of competition and give themselves some creditability. But, lets assume I get lynched. People will see I am nothing, and then you will still get lynched. either way I win. I am nothing more than a pawn in this game, a nothing, and as long as the revolution wins, if I die or not, well lets just say it will be beneficial to me (since I assume that you are not allowed to post your win conditions).
Bottom line is that I am willing to trade my life for yours, cause I still get a check mark in the win category.
Re: Cuban Revolution Mafia. A sad day three.
I think that you can basically say what they are, as long as you don't use the actually wording. The reason being is that it would possibly be easy to spot a lair by asking to post their condition and looking to see it they word it wrong.Rainbow Eater wrote:(since I assume that you are not allowed to post your win conditions).
Rainbow, the fact the you were in favor of the lynch on vodean does not clear you of being scum. Scum members will sometimes be vocally in favor of lynching someone who turns out to be their partner. Sometimes they, like you, thinks that people won't think they are his partner if they say they got them lynched.

Re: Cuban Revolution Mafia. A sad day three.
The first mafia member lynched was vodean. With peasants falling left and right, what would the mafia risk that move? Maybe if vodean was a definite lynch you would see mafia jumping on the end of the bandwagon, but I doubt the first person and most vocal person in the lynch mob. I think you would agree with that.spiesr wrote:I think that you can basically say what they are, as long as you don't use the actually wording. I tend to agree that UTAlan did do a good job digging up that post. Now, whether that just happened to be coincidental, we'll never know. However, Rainbow Eater is saying that he's willing to trade his life today to make sure Alan gets lynched tomorrow. I'm reading that as basically a claim of vanilla townie by RE.

You can quote your role, but you can also fake quote. I also may have changed the wording from the original thread or whatever, so don't read to far into it.spiesr wrote:I think that you can basically say what they are, as long as you don't use the actually wording. getting killed during the night does send to sneak up on people, it always comes as a surprise to me whenever i was nk, gunslinger or cops vs mafia games for anyone wondering, i think it would be polite for the scum bags to at least warn the victims before killing themnaxus wrote:well damn didnt think id get killed yet.Oh well

Well I'm going to vote RE seeing as naxus was voting him and naxus was a spy(cop?).

Well, it could be a lead of some sort. Not very good evidence really, but we don't have a lot to go on so it might be worth a look.colton24 wrote:Well I'm going to vote RE seeing as naxus was voting him and naxus was a spy(cop?).

It's a lead, but I'm not sure whether anyone has really come out as suspicious. However, I wonder why naxus wouldn't push the point harder if he did come up as scum.

REs argument sound very solid, and he actually constructive pro village. To me it looks like a scum-plot to frame him, to kill the only person that voted him.

probably because he didn't want to expose his role this early in the game, a cop claiming usually leads to the cop being killed in the night unless there is a doc.safariguy5 wrote:It's a lead, but I'm not sure whether anyone has really come out as suspicious. Re: Cuban Revolution Mafia. Night two.
Bold by me. Flavourtext says, he was a new recruit. You think its possible that he wasn't cop from the start? Maybe he even was some kind of mason, so he could have been able to send his views to someone else.captainwalrus wrote:The night was a sad night for the revolution. Naxus, a newly recruited revolutionary spy had just finished radioing in his results when he heard a knock on his door. He told his wife and children to get in the basement and he went to answer. before he got to the door the night explode with gunfire for a full thirty seconds. The sound of a car screeching away could be heard and Naxus lay dead in a pool of blood.
As dawn broke his body was retrieved and he was given the funeral procession of a hero though the street of Santiago, hi home town.
Naxus Revolutionary spy (cop) has been night killed.
Begin day three.
Anyone voting for RE got a result from the cop? I think if the cop had a positiv hit on RE, he would have claimed, so maybe he viewed him the night he died.
Re: Cuban Revolution Mafia. A sad day three.
1. I doubt that he was really a new recruit. That could just be a black flag clue. Plus clues can lead to a lot of metagaming so I'm not sure about it being a clue.
2. Naxus might not of investigated RE. Unfortunately we won't know that until endgame.
3. Looking back on the bandwagon the evidence is poor.
4. With RE wanting to get lynched in exchange for UTAlan getting killed tomorrow that is likely a VT claim.
5. UTAlan has seemed scummy in the few posts he has made.
So....
