I am probably not alone in being one who is getting fed up of a number of people who moan about other player's strategies, and rather than accept what happens in the game have to try and belittle or bully those they disagree with.
Most players use this site to play Conquer Club and have fun. They do not want to be verbally abused, called an idiot for attacking the wrong person, or whatever.
So, why don't CC set up a special forum where players can air their views about other players strategies, in a place where the would-be recipient need not see it and be offended, and that way 'get it off their chest'.
Incidentally, I would advise against allowing name-dropping by the player posting the 'Whinge Thread'.
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
A better atmosphere will encourage a lighter playing spirit by those using the site.
Minors need not be subjected to foul language (something I myself cannot abide, though I will admit that I myself am guilty of using a few undesirable expletives from time to time, though I usually use **** to mask the (in)appropriate word).
More light-hearted players can have a good laugh by reading the gripes and moans of these "obviously superior strategists" who do not like losing, though I daresay most of them browse through the games looking for this kind of thing anyway.

Quite right. Many is the times I've heard 'Ginger Whinger' being touted around the school playground, fortunately I didn't have enough red in my hair to count as 'Ginger'nagerous wrote:Whinger is a legit British term

Re: Suggestion: Whinger's Corner forum
OK! For the benefit of Americans, whose terminology differs slightly from us Brits, and anyone else who hasn't heard it before, whinger (rhymes with ginger as Artimis implied, not with singer) means pretty much the same thing as whiner.
By the way, the word colour has a 'u' in it, and a billion is 1,000,000,000, not 100,000,000, which probably explains why I was short-changed on the New York Stock Exchange a few years back. What this all has to do with my original point is beyond me, but what the hell.

Indeed there are many differences between the American version of something and the British version. However, I do take issue with a British billion being 1,000,000,000. This is, in fact, the financial billion.Hoagy wrote:OK! I explain it all here.
