CC advertising ?

Post by ManBungalow »

Concise description:
  • Go on an CC advertising campaign over the internet !
Specifics:
  • I get the feeling that fewer people are joining this site every day...
  • Check out http://www.free-games.com.au/Free_Onlin ... yer_Games/.
The CC advert on there is really out of date ("over 20 maps").
  • There are free advertising sites around (maybe the site I just linked is one).
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
  • By bringing more players and activity to the site.
  • By making lackattack more money 8-)

Gotta agree that there is really no reason AT ALL for the advertisement noted above to only list the number of maps at 20. Come on, Lack!

i think lack doesnt really care.

i think this is his second job. his spending money. i rarely see him on here, and as far as things getting done on his end, i am not sure in the two years i have been here that i have seen a lot of change.

advertising cost money, and has to provide a return on investment in order to be worth it. Perhaps Lack does just fine with the standard SERPs.

But we're not speaking of anything that costs money. We're talking about a free site advertisement that is so out of date that it says we only have TWENTY maps.

Moneyed advertisement is an entirely different subject.

CC does do some advertising---though I think more of it is related to Search Engines main listing searches, rather than individual websites. Additionally, I know CC sometimes appears in the "sponsored ad" next to main listing searches, when certain terms are used.

i think CC's largest advertising campaign is/are all the current members that bring friends and family to the site. i myself was brought here by a friend and in turn, brought more of my own to the site. word of mouth seems to be the biggest draw to this site.-0

p.s.-that and the guy i saw at emo's one night in a CC shirt trying to score chicks outside of the girls bathroom while a speed metal band was playing in the house... funniest thing ever...

Indeed---worth of mouth, either in person or in forum boards across the interweb have been a large contributor in CC Advertising.

Thanks for pointing that out, I had them bring that text up-to-date.

I already spend lots of time managing ad campaigns all over the internet :)
