Welcome to my 2nd tournament. I'm a regular tournament and clan wars player, and was noticing that there
hasn't been much innovation in tournaments over the last 6 months or so. Seems like the same people running the same bracket-league scheme over and over again. In order to shake things up, I've enlisted the help of my fellow clan mate and well-known TO boss_oss_ss to help out here in both the creative and execution of this tournament.

The idea was loosely based on the movies Kill Bill V 1&2 for those that may not recognize the reference.

Let the story begin..........

Boss_oss_ss and I have setup a company to deal with these issues called Deadly Viper Assassinations Inc. We, as the owners, are looking to "hire" 20 of the best tournament players to carry out our business and those of other companies. By completing a "contract kill" each employee will receive their commission upon successful completion. (Ranging from $50,000 to $500,000 USD)

Players wishing to join the company must submit a resume (name, points, notable kills in the past 2 months, along with other tournament references) and be willing to work full-time (premium) on commission for 3-4 months. We also have 3 other positions in our consulting department. You will be hired based on your resume, so please watch the spelling and grammar; but also be creative and stick to the theme to improve your chances of being hired. Each of the owners will be hiring 10 employees each (bribe as necessary).

Once hired, each employee will be assigned a secret codename and will get a unique list of 10 targets to eliminate during your 3-4 months of employment. Do not under any circumstances reveal your codename or any of your targets. (You may not like the penalty) Stealth and ability to adapt to all scenarios (all game types, maps, and settings) will be very helpful, and you may need some help in some cases. The targets will not necessarily be set up for you, you'll have to research their habits to setup your kill situation.

The Snitch
The Informant
International Political Leaders
Crime Boss
Other assassins
Drug Dealers
Local Gangs
Notorious Gangsters

There will be both undisclosed bonuses and disclosed penalties. Bonuses happen in all shapes and forms depending on the outcome. Hint1: If you terminate your target, make sure you take out the "witnesses." There will also be penalties for multiple kill attempts. 1st try 100% of commission, 2nd attempt 85%, 3rd attempt 65%, after that the commission is 0% (to avoid stalking). If you run out of attempts, we reserve the right to reassign or replace that contract if another exists.

Some of the targets will be difficult to get on your own, but can be found in public places at most times. Each player can request that the owners provide them with additional support (pm jpcloet), but only 3 times. The owner's will then arrange for the support and may give it themselves.

There will also be random contracts posted by the owners every so often for all (common kill) based on some clue or puzzle. It will have its own details when posted.

The commission payroll will be disclosed (by codename) on a regular basis to show if you are the top earner. The top 3 employees will receive first notice entrance into all 2009 future operations of the owners current and future companies. (Tournaments)

Given the uniqueness of this tournament, I spoke with a TD a few months ago and had to get approval for a few aspects. It took quite a bit of planning and is still going. This is a tournament and will be played like one (winner will get medal), although a clever killer will find the optimal solution. Yes, most of the games will require you to use the game finder or another solution to setup your kill situation. This will require a bit more work than most tournaments for the players. Hopefully it will be worth it.
