Midkemdil Exterminator (Terminator)
The world of Midkemdil has been saved by its new hero, danryan.
Following the development of a vaccine cure against the Midkemdil Virus, the planet has benefitted from a period of peace and stability.
However, the great kingdoms are growing ever more concerned that a series of rebel forces are developing. If the rebel forces should grow and unite then the planet could fall under dictatorship or imperial rule.
As a proven warrior you have been assigned the task of eradicating these forces, as brutally as required. It is believed that there are a total of 15 developing factions.
This tournament is the third in a series of small knock-out terminator tournaments I am releasing. It is open to all players with a decent attendance record (see below). Freemiums welcome (one-game-at-a-time, although very small chance of two-games-at-once in the finals stage).
Latest: Details:
Spoiler
Four matches of 4 players each, players with most terminations progressing (if players are equal then finishing positions will determine who progresses).
Semi-Finals:
Two matches of 4 players each. As above, players with most terminations progress.
Finals:
Four players will play 2 matches. The player with the most terminations over the 2 matches will be the winner (if players have equal numbers then finishing positions in the two matches will determine who wins – if this doesn’t give an outright winner then a play-off will occur).
Spoiler
Spoiler
Matches will be Terminator (obviously) and Sequential.
Matches will also involve Flat Rate Spoils, Adjacent Reinforcements and Fog of War. The second final match will be escalating (other settings the same).
Play-offs between 2 players will be Standard but with the same settings as above.
Spoiler
Players must have a 97% attendance record, have played a minimum 25 matches, and not have dropped out from one of my tournaments previously! Freemiums welcome, although beware that the tournament starts as soon as we have enough players.
Players will have 24 hours to join their matches from when the joining PM is sent. Failure to do so will result in a reserve being sought (harsh, I know).
Winners of each match should PM the Tournament Organiser with details of the positions and no. of terminations for each player.
Spoiler
For the first round, reserves will be drawn from the reserve list.
After each round play-offs between players knocked-out will be used to determine the top 3 reserves (by a play-off). Players knocked-out will be sent a PM to register interest in the play-off. They will have 24 hours to respond.
After the first round, reserves will be drawn from players succeeding in reserves play-offs. The top 2 reserves will be sent a PM when an opening occurs. The first reserve to respond will gain a place. If no reserve is found within 24 hours then a PM will be sent to the next 2 reserves. This will continue until a reserve is found. If no players are found from the reserves participating in play-offs then reserves will be sought from the original reserve list (again 24-hour response time). If this is unsuccessful then a reserve will be recruited by mass PM (again 24-hour response time). If this is still unsuccessful then the matches in question will take place with one fewer player.
