Just look at how the foundry has a dead bin. Make one for sugs and bugs so it is easier to find out if something has already been suggested

I agree, but your improvement for the suggestion is wrong. Searching in a forum is the exact same difficulty as searching in a sub-forum. The good thing about the suggestion is not that things are easier to find that have been suggested, but to find things which are currently being suggested without having to dig through dead threads.
