The leading players in the scoreboard are usually taking points in "freestyle" "doubles" or "quad" games. Why not create a "standard scoreboard ranking" and "doubles scoreboard rankings" and "1 on 1 scoreboard ranking". I think that the top 10 players on the current scoreboard are not very good single players, and they don't play it to not risk their points.
Specifics:
Just create a new query that sum the points according to the game type. Under the "scoreboard" link you need another page with options to switch between the tables.
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
better ranking and the "top" players will not be afried to play standard games (as it will affect another ranking table).
