nietzsche Lowest of the low tactics [Settled]
Accused:
nietzsche
The accused are suspected of:
Other: Gross abuse of tactics and being a lowlife with no class.
Game number(s):
Game 3929880
Comments: The lowlife clearly reported to all that he was leaving the game due to it being late. Another player agreed leaving the game to myself and another player to finish. He then missed a turn which allowed us to redeploy troops and also reduce our number in attacks. He then rejoined the game unannounced and took an easy win. This type of cheating has no place in this game... This person does not deserve the right to play. All need to be warned about this individual.

Re: nietzsche Lowest of the low tactics
This guy nietzsche is honestly the worst liar i have ever encountered. stated quite clearly in chat he was going. waited till he had missed 2 turns and all other players had attacked each other so had no troops left, then calmly stepped back into the game with-out any apology or explanation, cashed in a 10 set and cleared up from there, really low form of gameplay and a lowlife in general. I even checked about 5 times to see if he was online and sent him a pm. It said he was offline and no reply to pm. Then the scumbag steps back in the game. Very old and cheap trick that we didnt expect because of players rank. True nasty piece of work.
Re: nietzsche Lowest of the low tactics
Take it to flame wars, this can't be considered abuse. You should have waited until he had deadbeated before continuing the game 1vs1. Your fault in the long run.

Re: nietzsche Lowest of the low tactics
Who said abuse? He's a fucking cheat mate, simple as. and stop posting when your pissed.
Re: nietzsche Lowest of the low tactics
Eh? It's midday on a monday morning. Why would I be drunk?
No need to drop f bombs either, as I said take it to flame wars, and have another read of CC rules.

He didn't cheat at all. He played you for a fool. Why you thought you should broadcast this to the rest of us is beyond me.banockles wrote:Who said abuse? He's a fucking cheat mate, simple as.

Re: nietzsche Lowest of the low tactics
Not sure if banockles can read this (he has me on foe for 'cheating' I believe) however in this case I do have sympathy. It IS an old trick and one I encountered a couple of times during speed games. In this situation I usually suggest to the other player concerned to hold fire UNTIL that player as actually deadbeated. I one smoked a player out this way and was he FURIOUS that we hadn't simply played on. Claimed he wasn't cheating, of course.banockles wrote:for more of a reason than you responding to it . it effected me, not you and yet your life is so empty you felt the need to put your oar in. get a life kid.
Is it cheating though? I would say just going off-line without leaving a message and then coming back on after two rounds is acceptable (if cheap) play. Leaving a message that you are leaving the game, going off-line and then coming back on (this happened in the game I was thinking about as well) is probably not against the rules as they are now, but CC might think about changing those rules if that is the case.
To the cheater involved: it is all very well saying that you went to the shower and noticed that the game was still going on (noticed you were now in a winning position more like), but you still shouldn't have played. I think you know that really. You won the game and you'll keep the points, but it'll be the cheapest victory you'll get on CC and I doubt it gave you much pleasure.

There is no rule against giving misinformation in the game chat. He said he was leaving, whether he did or did not does not matter. He did not do anything that is against the rules. Feel free to leave whatever ratings you feel are appropriate. I am moving this to Closed Reports and marking it [Settled].
Re: nietzsche Lowest of the low tactics
You're almost right. It didn't affect me in the least, until you decided to shout from the mountains that you got suckered, plain and simple. Perhaps I shall overcome the "emptiness" of my life by accusing all who best me at a game, of cheating.banockles wrote:for more of a reason than you responding to it . it effected me, not you and yet your life is so empty you felt the need to put your oar in. get a life kid.

No it is not being schooled - it is low cheap tactics.

It's nowhere near breaking a rule, and it worked. It is sour grapes.JayMes wrote:No it is not being schooled - it is low cheap tactics.

Next time I suggest you wait until he's eliminated fully before attacking your opponent.

Deadbeating is effective at times, and although it should be condoned, it seems that yellow has an excuse.

Deadbeating is missing all 3 turns. So no, it's never effective.obliterationX wrote:Deadbeating is effective at times, and although it should be condoned, it seems that yellow has an excuse.
