Maxatstuy has been account sitting abusing for a long time now. Here is how he does it. He asked you if you want to play a doubles game with him. Most of these are in the now past as you can see by the game numbers. (tbh I got tired of looking at games after awhile) He enjoys freestyle doubles where timing is everything and playing at the same time can be of a great advantage. After you agree one of the first things he will ask you for is your password. (I know this as he asked for mine and I declined.) He says he wants to have your password, just in case you are not around to play. Or in other words, if playing now gives you an advantage then he will play both accounts at the same time. In many of the game links there are comments in the chat or long periods of time in between moves, such as forts. A fort from Siam to India to Mid East could take as long as 45 secs or so. India would have been owned by one player and the other 2 by the other teammate. So in this time he would switch back and forth between accounts. In some of these games someone is playing for him and he is playing for his partner. Ugh Why is not playing for himself? Games such asGame 2458802 The point is this goes against the spirit of the game. He as openly admitted to myself and others he does this. This being playing games for others. He has played many games on the Elistuy account. Games in which his brother signed up to play and all of a sudden has no interest in playing, so max plays them for him instead of him deadbeating the game. It is one thing to take a random turn for a teammate if you see they are about to miss a turn. It is a whole other thing to take turns on a somewhat seemingly daily basis for others, just because they are not around for a few hours. The last game is a singles game where you can see from the game logs/ chat that secret diplomacy was conducted. Keep in mind this is flat rate and world 2.1 No way someone sweeps the board in a game like that without help.

He was the last to sign up, so obviously he wanted to play it. Max then dumps the game to Paddy The Cat, since Paddy knows the map better.

Account sitting is fine, abusing the sitting is not good. That means taking moves almost every day for some players, just cause they are not around for a bit.

It seems like he inadvertently commented while logged in with the wrong account, realized his mistake after half a minute and tried to cover it up. The grammar and spelling are also very similar throughout a huge number of games.

I do not believe them to be multi's but rather brothers who use each others accounts. More like Max uses Eli's account. Other info not posted in this thread would keep the multi possibility down. Not saying they are not. But he does have a brother.

So yes this is no babysitting abuse as he is gaining no points for the maxatstuy account nor is he creating new games.

Therefore no abuse = nothing to 'charge' him with.

I travel a ton for work (120+ days a year), and when I'm unable to take my turns I'll have Deliaselene or Maxatstuy take my turns for me. It all depends on who's available and how long I'm gone. They have to take some of my turns perhaps a dozen times each month. This is certainly not abuse. I'll either email my sitters or log in quick from my phone and let them know how long I'll be unavailable for.

Without people on CC like Max, I'd be missing a ton of turns and delaying the games for many people. Thank you Max!

lol...not only am I brothers with elistuy, but there are people on conquerclub who know us both personally. Ink for instance goes to our school...if you have any doubt, ask him

and I was not mentioning the amount of accounts I have the pw for to gloat, I was commenting on in order to reference where I play my majority of speed games (the ones that so many people like to say I dont play myself)...i do babysit for several accounts however. if anyone cares to remember, fantasianasian was away in europe for several weeks and someone had to play for him. JCKing had to be away for about a day and asked me to make sure time doesnt expire in any of his games, elistuy I check regularly because he is my brother and I try to make sure he doesnt lose all of his games to missed turns. There was a time when phantomzero had to be away for quite some time and needed his account to be watched as well. Paddy The Cat went away for a few days at one point as well (king and I split those games though so that neither of us had to play for a teammate or opponent.) 300spartans went away for one day and asked me to cover one game for him, prank asked me to finish one speed game where his computer was acting up and he had to leave, freeroll asked me to play when he went away for the weekend, aliakber at one point gave me his pw because he was having a lot of internet troubles, King gave me his pw as a precaution a while back after he almost missed a turn because of internet toubles, and I am sure there are many more people who I am forgetting.

if anyone would like to accuse me of being a multi with all of the people who I just mentioned, I would be very flattered.

We all have account sat at one time or another if they're on vacation , work, have plans or whatever. It seems the situation with Max isn't about account sitting, it's about abusing it- it's about taking your partners turns when it's conventient. There's quite a big edge in casual freestyle team games if both partners are able to play at the same time. What Bruce is suggesting, and I believe also, is that Max is taking those turns for his doubles partners because they just aren't logged in at the time. There's also a complaint about a secret alliance LF.

Understandable Phantom, I'm sure that's the original reason why they allow others to account sit. Don't think anyone is saying he abused the rules in your case.
