simpler maps

Post by chirag »

I'd like to put in a request for simpler maps...

maps are getting more and more complex and impossible to play.

Just a thought...

We're working on some simpler gameplay. I've tried outlining simple straight gameplay maps in development (there are a slew) in the Foundry Newsletter, reachable (here).

The newsletter is good. The newsletter is good. You will read the newsletter. You will read the newsletter...

Guys, quit spamming about the newsletter. One post about it was enough.

chirag, there ARE quite a few simple maps being worked on right now.
And they are fairly easy to find, just browse around the forums and look in a few map threads. You will probably find a few that are very simple.

These are links to a few simple maps in production:
Bering Strait [clicky]
Charelston, South Carolina [clicky]
Iceland [clicky]
Luxembourg [clicky]
South Africa [clicky]
Switzerland [clicky]
There are quite a few more simple maps than these ones I've listed. Take the time to look around the forums and you could probably find some more.

thanks for the post chirag. We get such a request around here every month or so, and I agree that we pump out classic maps at about the same rate that we produce complicated maps.

Funny, but we don't get a lot of folks popping in just to say "More really confusing maps, please!" ;)
