50 Cent Supports Hillary, Why?...
50 Cent came out and endorsed Hillary Clinton saying that he thinks America isn't ready for a black president and that someone will kill him. That is something that isn't often discussed, but it actually could be a viable probability. The KKK would go apeshit if a black man became president, would they actually try and assassinate him? Here is 50 Cents response to Bill O':

That's what Bush has been doing with Rice and Powell. That way they can say they are not racist. That's how I have been seeing it anyway.

If you guys are wondering what Shirk means, go to Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shirk_(polytheism)
Christians are Shirks, but the terrorists would really hate Obama, because he was raised Muslim but chose Christianity. That is a very terrible Shirk and is considered worse than a murderer. So, the terrorists would have better respect for Bush (since he was never raised as a Muslim and therefore there is still a chance that he might embrace Islam) than for Obama.

I'm pretty sure Obama was raised a Christian, and never knew his Muslim father at all.DaGip wrote:If you guys are wondering what Shirk means, go to Wikipedia:

Both of your statements are ridiculous and insulting. If anyone has a civil rights record to be ashamed of it is liberal democrats.DaGip wrote:Exactly...btownmeggy wrote:Conservatives would love a black President. "What!?! Racism!?! The Republican Party, which has a conservative base, has:
1. Founded itself in 1856 with the express purpose of ending the expansion of slavery.
2. Produced president Abraham Lincoln & a Republican-dominated Congress, who successfully worked with Great Britain to end the slave trade, end slavery in the District of Columbia, issue the Emancipation Proclamation, pass the land grant acts which allowed blacks admission to agricultural schools, and repealed the Fugitive Slave Laws.
3. Stood against the Black Code Laws of the south.
4. Introduced the 13th Amendment to the Constitution, banning slavery....and 14th Amendment granting due process to all Americans (despite Democrat resistance).
5. Had to override presidential vetoes in order to confer rights on blacks and protect the Freedman's Bureau.
6. Introduced & passed the Civil Rights Act of 1875 so all Americans could have equal access to public accomodations.
7. Produced supreme court judges who: (a) dissented from the Dred Scott decision, (b) overturned the notion of 'separate but equal' in Brown vs. Board of Education
8. Traditionally fought against the KKK and supported anti-lynching laws (only to be stopped by Democrats in the U.S. Senate)
9. Called for the desegregation of blacks/whites within the U.S. military
10. Worked with businessmen to create schools in the south for poor black youth
11. Been instrumental in getting the 1964 Civil Rights Act passed (because the one in 1875 was declared unconstitutional)
*************************************************************
That's just a short list of our accomplishments. Meggy, you should especially be ashamed of supporting a party which has:
1. Produced presidents who forcefully interred Japanese-Americans against their will - FDR. It took a Republican president to sign an act to compensate them for that - Ronald Regan in 1988.
2. Produced supreme court justices which were openly members of the KKK - Hugo Black
3. Produced governors which tried to used military force to keep blacks from having equal access to integrated high school - Orval Faubus. It took a Republican president to force his hand - Dwight Eisenhower.
4. Produced senators which lead opposition to the lunch counter integration movement - Ernest Hollings
5. Long supported segregation, especially by men like J. William Fulbright, who Bill Clinton admitted was his political mentor.
6. Produced a greater percentage of senators & house reps who opposed the 1964 Civil Rights Act
7. Still has a member of the U.S. Senate who openly belonged to the KKK - Robert Byrd
If you want to debate who has an overall better record on civil rights, we win.

You know there's no resemblance between the Civil War-era parties and today.
Even the similarities between the parties in the early 60s and today are small.
The 60s, and especially the 70s, saw a massive reconfiguration of American Politics.
I like to brag all the time about how if I'd lived in the 19-oughts I'd have been a Republican.

You can presume whatever you want, but your party has a terrible civil rights record and has tried to accuse conservatives of racism in order to deflect attention away from your own embarrassing history.btownmeggy wrote:I presume you're joking.

If there's so little similarity then you would have no problem calling for Robert Byrd's resignation...but you won't.

Oh, I call for it. Byrd is racist, though that's certainly not a good enough reason to tell West Virginians they're unqualified to choose their own Senator. But here's a good reason: he's 91 years old and essentially incompetent. Have you ever seen him on CSPAN? It's very, very sad.luns101 wrote:You can presume whatever you want, but your party has a terrible civil rights record and has tried to accuse conservatives of racism in order to deflect attention away from your own embarrassing history.btownmeggy wrote:I presume you're joking.

50 is a pinhead as o'rielly states, haha. Saying we shouldn't have a black president because america "isn't ready" is taking steps backwards in racial equity. What did MLK jr do? He forced people to see the inequalities in america by having speeches, marches, etc. which eventually led to civil rights, but also his death. He didn't wait til america was ready as we can see from all the people that were against him. I'm sure he would do it all over again if he had the chance, because he knew there were gonna be many people out there who wanted to kill him, but the need for someone to step up for his people was greater than that threat.
If Obama becomes president and does a good job, maybe a lot of people who are racist will start to reconsider because he would be an example. Also, of course there will be people gunning for him, but there is for every president. What about JFK and Regan just to name a couple? I'm sure he has thought about these consequences and for 50 to say that he won't vote for Obama because america isn't ready is pinheaded and counter-productive.
also I love how 50 turns o'rielly's comment about him saying somerthing stupid, into a slam on o'rielly which is racist by assuming he is flying a confederate flag and listening to the good old boys. Double standard?
