Tournament Organization Question
I've got my first tournament underway but I have one guy who hasn't showed. It's been about 1-2 days since the email went out that play was starting. When do you usually call up a reserve? My email is still in the "outbox" (not "sent")... I assume that means he didn't even open the email. Any pointers from the pro's?

Anyways, if you are waiting for the player to join, it is usually common practice amongst organizers to give 48-72 hours from when they first send the PM with the game numbers and passwords. Anything past that, and you are free to call in a replacement to take his spot.
As for the fact that he apparently has not read his PMs, I would leave it there and not delete it from your Outbox until after the replacement has joined the proper games and 7 days have passed since then. That is what I do, just to be on the safe side.
Hope that helps,
