Question, computer boffins

My Mrs bought me a wireless router for Christmas. The input socket is for a standard phone line ( UK ) but my internet comes in on a seperate coax cable. ( Virgin Bdband ).
Is it possible to get an adaptor from coax to phone line?

Any advice appreciated.

Yes, where I live however, the cable company provides the transition box.
