No.
We're a parliamentary democracy already and the monarchs bring in a lot of tourist income, not to mention it's a cultural tradition.

Absolutely not.
While I think there are people who deserve to die, murder committed by an individual is a completely different thing to murder sanctioned by the state.
In any case, never heard the saying "death's too good for them"?
The Queen has almost no power, the only thing she has is the title queen and a helluva lot of money. Parliament rules, the queen is kept as more of a tradition. This was told to me a week or two ago by my history teacher. As for the death penalty take it or leave it.
Monarchy: i could care less since i dont know much about Britain or their power figures....
Death Penalty: yes, but not like in the old days....u were killed for anything. Just the most violent crimes should be punished by death penalties... like rape, murder, molesting little children, and terrorism.
No. The Queen is about as respected, diplomatic and tactful ambassador we could hope for. It is great to have a figure above petty politics to represent the country. She takes no sides. Plus we pay something like 80p each through taxes for their maintenance, taking into account the charity works and general representation they give us. And the tourist dollar...
And no. It isn't a deterrent and we can never be 100% sure someone is guilty. There are countless countless cases of new evidence declaring prisoners accused of murder innocent after years in prison. If they were dead then we'd have their blood on our hands.

You need the monarchy, without them you'd lose most of your tourists and 2 out of 3 papers (especially tabloids) would go bankrupt within a month because they wouldn't have anything to write about anymore.
As for the death penalty, no, I wouldn't argue for it if I were you. It costs as much as or more than lifelong imprisonment. If there's a screw-up and an innocent person dies there's nothing to be done about it, if an innocent person goes to jail at least he can be set free again and given some recompense, which is a lot better for public relations and also morally more acceptable. And speaking of morals, the difference between the acts of a murderer and the acts of the person who switches on the electric chair or injects the poison is that one of those is institutonalised and the other is not.

"It is noteworthy that persons are pronounced mad by officials destitute of evidence that themselves are sane."
