If I recall, women were cursed to suffer the pain of childbirth - which is now no longer the case since ether and epidurals were introduced; and men were cursed to toil in the fields, which most of us haven't done since the agrarian revolution, so at best the human curses lasted less than 7000 years (based on the Noah chronology).
Serpents can also swim, climb trees and fall with style (not technically flying).
We seem to have overcome the curses already.

ConfedSS left out the part in the same Bible verse about enmity between mankind and snakes. As I said in the other thread on this point, this “theory” is a stretch, and I do not find it Cogent.
And for 3:14 day, look at John 3:14, and Numbers 21:4-9

a) 3:14 has nothing to do with any dates, since no-one else in the world does dates that way round
b) The only day worth celebrating is Star Wars day
c) Whilst many myths and legends have origins in truth, albeit often misinterpreted, I only accept what's in the bible as evidence of what's in the bible.
d) Your Numbers reference suggests that people who aren't happy with the leadership get punished. Isn't that what happens in dictatorships?
