Some rules will differ slightly in case of a 7 clan division; these rules are marked with * See below for further information.
Basic Format
- show: Basic Format
- Basic Format:
Clans play each other within their divisions to determine division winners and which clans get promoted or relegated.
Each division will have between 5-7 clans, depending on the number of clans. The higher level divisions will always have equal or more participants than the divisions below.
All divisions play a "double" double round robin, i.e., in each division, each clan will play a double round robin with each opponent two times, in two separate rounds, with 12 home and 12 away games in each round*. Each set of 12 games is considered a match.
Per match, points will be awarded as follows:- Win: 2 Points
- Draw: 1 Point
- Loss: 0 Points
Tie-Breaker Rules:
If 2 or more clans end up with same amount of points their placement will be based on (in order):
- Game Difference
- Difference in head-to-head results
- Difference in head-to-head game wins
- Difference in head-to-head away game wins (if still more than 2 clans tie)
- Difference in total away wins
- Difference in total away game wins
Division Size:- If 14 or less clans sign-up, we will have two divisions.
- If 15 or more clans sign-up, we will have three divisions.
Note:- Games won by forfeit do not count as game wins for the tie-breaker rules.
Promotion & Relegation
- show: Promotion and Relegation
- The system we will use will work for all possible division sizes.
Once the Final standings are determined, a Priority Order will also be determined.
List the finishers from top to bottom starting with Premier division 1st place and ending with last place of the bottom division.
The bottom 2 of each division (besides the bottom division) drop 2 spots to be below the top 2 finishers of the lower division. This determines our initial Priority Order.
Then, starting with the 5th place and moving down, at each point in the order where 2 clans that played in different divisions are adjacent, they will play a "Play-off" match to fight for their spot.- For example, consider a league with 16 teams, 1 division of 6 and 2 divisions of 5. Let PX = Premier Division Xth place finisher, SY = Second Division Yth place finisher and TZ = Third Division Zth place finisher.

Play-off matches will happen as soon as final standings are decided.
Play-off matches will be the same set-up of a standard round, but with a tiebreaker game.
The winner of the match gets the higher spot and the loser the lower.
The lower clan on the initial priority order of a match is the "challenger".
If the Challenger clan chooses not to play the match, the order does not change.
If the Challenger clan elects to play, and the higher clan does not, than the Challenger clan wins and they switch in priority order.
Once the Play-off matches are complete, we have our Final Priority order to determine division placement for the next Clan League.

Eligibility:- To be eligible for entering CL15, a clan must be a member of (or eligible to join) the CAT Forum.
- To be eligible for entering CL15, a clan must have a minimum of 10 active players. It is highly recommended that you have several more than that.
- In a 2 division League, New clans or clans that did not participate in CL14, will be placed in the lowest division. The same is the case for a three division league unless the clan in question's most recent D400 score meets one of the below requirements; in which case the clan in question will begin in the second division.
- If D400 Weight greater than 150, D400 score must be greater than 50% of all other signed up clans.
- If D400 weight is less than 150, but greater than 50; then Score is adjusted by subtracting the difference between 150 and the clans weight. That adjusted score must be greater than 50% of all other signed up clans.
- Clan Name and Abbreviation
- First Contact
- Second Contact
- Request Privileges for both Contacts: Yes/No

Use of Games, Maps, Settings and Players
- show: Games, Maps, Settings and Players
- Games:
Every round will consist of 2 matches, i.e., 12 home and 12 away games between the same clans, a total of 24 games.
For every round the 2 clans will set up the following 12 home games with their choice of maps and settings:- 4 Doubles
- 4 Triples
- 4 Quads
- A map may not be used while it is still in Beta.
- Each map can be used a maximum of 4 times during the main course of the tournament.
- This max resets for playoff round(s)
- A map can only be used once per home set, per round.
- The random map option can be used without limitation.
The following settings are not allowed:- Speed
- Manual
- Freestyle
- Players can play a maximum of 5 games per match and 9 games total per round.*
- Clans need to use a minimum of 10 different players per match (set of 12 games).
- A player who plays for one clan in CL15, cannot play for another clan in CL15.
Creating, Posting and Filling Games
- show: Creating, Posting and Filling Games
- We will have rounds starting every 3 weeks*, on a Sunday (see schedule). The clan contacts are responsible for creating their clans' (home) games, inviting their players and ensuring the games are filled correctly and in a timely manner. Merely inviting players does not mean that the game is filled!
At the start of every round the home clan contacts have to:- Create the home games
- Post the home games (game numbers only) in the appropriate thread
- Invite the home players
Creating, posting and inviting the home teams needs to be done by the same Sunday the round starts!
All away games must be filled by the following Sunday at 23:59 hours (CCT).
This means ALL games should be started within one week of the round's start date.
IMPORTANT: Communication is key!
Clan contacts should contact the TO's if they have a problem meeting a deadline and/or if they know they are going to be absent for a certain period of time. We may be able to help to avoid missing a deadline by granting an extension or privileges to the second clan contact, for example. Other clan members should warn their clan contacts if they see a deadline may be missed. If the clan contacts are unresponsive, clan members should contact the TO's.
Notes:- To avoid ongoing games from having to be remade it is strongly recommended that the away clan contacts check the home games for errors before inviting their players.
- It is optional to send a PM to the opposing clan contacts with the games and/or assigned players.

Clan Achievement Medals will be awarded to each division’s MVP; the winning Clan will choose their MVP.
Rules and Infractions
- show: Rules and Infractions
- Rules:
- All the CC and Clan rules will be in effect, unless stated otherwise in this post.
- While the TO will not be enforcing, the 12-hour Fog of War Rule is in effect and everyone is expected to follow it. The 12-hour Fog of War Rule as defined by the CDs is that "The player with first turn must wait 12 hours before playing a first turn that would alter the opposing team's view of the map."
Infractions relating to deadlines and the use of maps, settings and players:- 1st Infraction: The offending clan will receive an official 1st Warning.
- 2nd Infraction: The offending clan will receive an official 2nd Warning.
- 3rd Infraction: The offending clan will receive their official Final Warning.
- 4th Infraction: The offending clan will receive a 1 point deduction from their overall points total.
- 5th Infraction: The offending clan will receive a 2 point deduction from their overall points total.
- 6th infraction: Expulsion from the competition. All results annulled.
Notes:- Unofficial warnings or reminders may be issued at the TO's discretion for minor first time offenses.
- When a warning has been issued for missing a deadline, the next deadline will be 24 hours after the warning was issued.
Use of maps and players:
It is up to each Clan to check their oppositions' games.- For a game to be remade it must be brought to the attention of the oppositions main contact and the TOs before the start of round 2
- Any game that is remade after being registered in the database, and before round 2 of the game starts, has to be posted in the appropriate thread in a new post. That post also has to state which game it replaces.
- If a player joined more than the maximum games per match (set of 12 home or away games), the opposing clan may choose which game or games with said player has or have to be remade.
Other Infractions, Offenses, Issues:
Consequences for infractions that do not have a specific penalty assigned and any other offenses and issues, will be determined on a case by case basis, depending on the severity, repetitiveness and possible effects on the results of this tournament. The consequences can vary from, but are not limited to, a warning to the remaking of a game, forfeits or point deductions, removal of privileges or clan contacts, expulsion of a player or disqualification of a clan.- Note:
- All infractions and penalties will be posted in the corresponding division threads.
Extensions of deadlines:- Clans are expected to meet all deadlines.
- However, as life does sometimes get in the way, a clan may have 2 deadline extensions throughout the competition.
- The request must be sent by PM to Caymanmew and groovysmurf.
- Extensions are 24 hours by default. A longer extension may be given if requested.
- If clan y's opponent for round X receives an extension for their Home set in round X than clan y receives equal extension for filling away games, such that clan y has at minimum 5 days to fill.
- All extensions granted will be posted in the corresponding division threads.
Privileges:- Clans can request privileges for either their first clan contact or for both clan contacts. A request to have both contacts receive privileges can come at any stage of the tournament.
- Privileges come with responsibilities: See: Clan Challenge Privileges
- If 2 sets of games are created and posted, the set posted first will count as the official set of games.
- Any issues arising from both clan contacts having privileges; such as creating, posting, filling 2 sets of games, missing deadlines because of a misunderstanding between clan contacts, etc., falls under the responsibility of the clans.
- Any problem arising from both contacts having privileges will result in the immediate removal of the privileges of the second contact.
- Note:
- A list of clan contacts with privileges will be posted in the corresponding division threads.
Clans leaving CL15:- If a clan leaves CL15, after it has begun, for whatever reason(s) all results involving this clan will be annulled. The clan will not be eligible to enter CL16, unless issues that caused the abandonment are addressed to the satisfaction of the TO. Because CL15 is a double round robin set-up, if the clan leaving has completed all matches in the first round robin, those results will NOT be annulled; only the results for the second round robin.

*Special Rules For 7 Clan Divisions
- show
- In the case of a 7 clan division, some rules will be affected due to time constraints; these differences are:
- Rather than having two 24 game rounds, each clan will have one 24 game round and one 12 game round. The 12 game round will consist of 6 home games for each clan and be considered one match.
- In the round with a single 12 game match, a player's maximum game total will still be 5 games for the match (this includes home AND away). Maximum of 3 games per 6 game (home/away) set.
- All rounds will be played in two week increments (as opposed to three), alternating between 24 game rounds and 12 game rounds.
