It could be a really nasty division. If everyone signs up I believe TOFU, OSA, LOW, and TOP are all second division.

It could be a really nasty division. If everyone signs up I believe TOFU, OSA, LOW, and TOP are all second division.

I think the funniest thing to me about that is if they all sign up, they won't all be able to promote to the premier division lol

Well, they finished bottom 3 (LOW and TOP) so no they don't deserve to be in PD but at the same time SD might become somewhat of a slaughter if all 4 sign up and are down there.

Here is a look at TOP and LOW's past few clan leagues

LOW
CL11: 8th place in PD
CLX: Tied for 6th place, ended 8th (game difference 3 less then ATL and SOH)
CL9: 7th place in PD
CL8: 1st in SD (30 points, +48 game difference, so slightly better the ICON this year)

Overall not a top clan but a clan that tends to stick in PD and doesn't get run over by top clans.

CL11: 7th place in PD
CLX: 5th place in PD
CL9: 5th place in PD
CL8: 2nd place in PD

Again, a clan that has consistently performed in PD vs the top clans.

TOFU is obviously a top clan and OSA has recently beat FOED and had close 22-21 wars vs ATL(win) and LOW(loss).

Compare those 4 clans to the top 4 of SD this year and you see a much better group, outside ICON no one compares IMO. Add in VNM who has managed to get promoted the last 2 times they have been in SD and as i said, nasty division.

I wouldn't agree that just because those clans were relegated means they don't deserve to be in the first div. Nobody in their right mind is ranking RGV or AFOS above OSA or LOW. It's harder to place TOP because it feels like they're on a downward spiral although they still have some good players, I believe they're only good enough to bounce between the two divisions. Going back as far as CL8 is pretty useless.

I never disagreed that the 2nd div will be a good fight.

I wanted to show a general trend. Going back to CL8 shows TOP's downward spiral as well as LOW's win in SD. TOP still had been better then LOW every year, I think they will remain better. If the 4 of them are all down there I'd bet on LOW being 4th, although still way above 5th. Hard to say though. Not a good situation for the clans who have regularly occupied and completed in SD.

I meant in the sense that now they will have 4 clans that are PD quality to complete with. Although you never know, sometimes clans refocus and improve. ATL did that.

ATL always had solid leadership even when the clan as a whole wasn't as strong. Most of the bottom clans have been that way for a long time and never, ever shown any indication of changing. Next CL will just be the very bottom clans like LOTZ, GON, KNT and BOB fighting at the bottom, TOFU chilling at the top and then everyone else battling it out between OSA, RET, LOW, TOP, DBD and VNM. Then maybe RA also want to play.
