Multiple Continent Territories

Just a quick question from Coleman or one of the other XML geeks...

To include a territory into multiple continents in the XML all I have to do is include it into each continent thread in the XMl, correct?

In doing this changing ownership of the territory will void the body of the first continent thread, but fulfill the second, correct?

I know XML, like HTML, is basically simple once you under the language but is it that simple?

Everything grouped in the continent is part of it.
Put the name in two seperate continent lists and its part of both.

Thank you for clearing that up.

I assume you can do more than 2 also. Make a space part of 3 or more continents?

Indeed you can - for an example - check out the World 2.0 map...

Others include the Kings of the Mountain, Siege, USAppocalypse & AOM (When it's uploaded)

There is no limit to the amount of continents a country can belong too...

in chigaco map alcatraz basically works by being in all continents i think. i think each continent basically exists twice, once without alctatraz and once with it.

so a country can be in all the contients if you want. or you can have some basically not in a continent at all by making a new continent that has no bonus.

There is no need to make a new continent to have no bonus, just simply don't list the country in any continents.

true but this will give you errors in the xml tester. of course those are ignorable errors. in the AoM xml there are over 18 thousand errors saying a country does not belong to any continent.

and in USAap... there are 211 warnings because all the countries are in 6 continents
