I played him today. Whilst not denying this would appear to be secret diplomacy, he has only played 63 games and may not be aware that this sort of thing is against the rules (otherwise he would have sent a PM). Perhaps you should have just called him out on it in game.

And looking at his profile he is a god-ugly SOB and should get some sympathy for that

Well you dont get auto sent to them when you sign up, only the partial rules in "The Game" section.
