why is this site so slow

When I play a game with escalating and it gets to a high escalation my PC freezes. And I have tried other PCs and does the same. I just played one of my turns and didn't even get to deploy my set. I ran out of time and didn't get to move.
Does this happen to anyone else???
Is it something I am doing wrong?

Its only escalating games.

When cashes become a certain size it's pretty difficult. This wS a recent change and there are some that are trying to get it changed back to the original. (Look here in suggestions)

Meanwhile go to settings, turn off panels and it should help a little.

You can also throw your support to change it back, if desired.

Escalating trench is typically the main problem area / settings.
