I believe he is trying to use this as a way to get deferred troops (though it won't matter). Is there some rule or program I don't know about? Check it out PLEASE because I am sure at a loss, especially since Yellow missed 3 and was booted.
How can a person miss 6 turns and still be in a game?

I am playing Midguard (#13075375) and Yellow missed the first 3 turns and was booted....we are on about turn 14, the game is not in question anymore but Blue has missed 6 turns (though not 3 in a row, and we only have 4 players).

The way kicking deadbeats works is 3 missed turns in a row and you're gone. If you come back and take a turn before missing 3 in a row, the count resets completely.

Arrrghhhh...won't matter to him, just prolonging it. But pretty cheap tactics in my opinion. Thanks

It's been discussed before, but It's difficult to draft a rule with a set cut-off point due to the fact that there -are- games that have gone on for three+ years. Missing six turns over the course of three years could be deemed acceptable...
Personally though I wouldn't mind a rule being fixed at 5 or 10. There should be a limit.
And this is coming from somone who played a lot of 6-8 player flatrate back in the day. ie long-ass games, so I'd say I do have some idea what the long-game entails.

Yep, stupid rules..you miss 3 in a row kicked and agreed. But something should be done for a player that misses 2 then comes back for a turn and misses 2 again only to return again
