CD's Starters Losers - Random [Rescued] Winner = scottp

This is the rescue thread for the "CD's Starters Losers - Random" tournament.
The original thread, including all information regarding format, rules and participants can be found here.
A couple of notes on what I plan to do:
It's been a while since games were sent out in this one so I'll give 48 hours or 2 dropped invitations before I drop you from the tourney. In case of a forfeit, the opponent will automatically move on to the next round.
Also, I'm going to send out second round games immediately as they are needed, no sense waiting for all the first round matches to end (that could take a while).

As you can now see, we still have three pair who are hashing out the first round, while due to some incredible luck we also have our first semi-finalist (me )
I'll be doing my best to keep on top of who needs new games, but don't be shy--post here if you're ready and in need of another!

Looks like scottp gets first blood. In the finals you have to win two games (when starting second of course) so now scottp only has to win one more while Wizz00 will need to get two to claim the trophy.

Yeah, it had slipped my mind as well but it's right there in the original tourney thread. I'd have made it just a single win like the rest of the tourney but since this is a rescue I just stuck with the format as it was originally laid out to avoid any confusion. Hope you guys don't have to play a dozen games to work out a winner haha!

Well, we finally got resolution. I had good (then bad then good then bad and finally good again fortune (lastly with a lucky 3-card set)) in this one and won it.

My hat is off to Wizz00, a very competent and gracious opponent! Thanks to perchorin for rescuing the tourney, and to mr. CD for having the original idea and starting it.

Congratulations scottp, you are a truly deserving champion. I agree about Wizz00, that guy is a class act. It's too bad we can only have one winner. Anyway thanks for everyone who participated!
