in one of my doubles games an idiot joined and his first move was to attack me all over. that's after i wrote him an entire speech on my plan for that game. we also had a fabulos position to start. it was the perfect setup for a win.
in the second round he continued to attack me.
then i tried running away but he still would not stop. needles to say he went straight to my ignore list. :)

Has anyone ever tactically deadbeated? I had a game with a teammate who deadbeated actually seemed to help things out. I don't think he did it on purpose, but it's an interesting idea for a strategy.

Same happened to me. I was playing triples and one of my teammates, instead of trying to take europe he attacks and conquers a territory from me. All he did was attack his own teammates and spread himself out into one man territories.

My opponent just did that. I nearly wiped out his teammate, so he did it instead. He said it was the most retarded thing he ever did.

i always eliminate my brother or vice versa for cards when we need them. Especially when you can see you will have 3 rainbow sets. Won us a couple of games

Maybe you should hold off on the speeches...seems like it pushes 'em over the edge.

Only for cards generally. I've also been in games were teammates have slaughtered each other. I once happened across a major who did it - hadn't realised it was a team game!

When I first joined the site I was really confused about doubles and triples. In one of my first doubles games I attacked my teammate and took his chance of taking S. America with 7 on each border. I took it myself and had 2 on each border. Needless to say he was pissed.

No wonder he has such a low score.

And 10 negative feedbacks...

I've seen people benefit, but I'm not really interested in consuming an ally early game, before I know how he or she is going to play.

superstud1234 does it to throw the games and annoy people

but you can win a game by doing it...ive been taken out on round two, and still had my partner win...but usually its done to collect cards to cash, and kill of another for cards as a last resort...Ive had some damn good comebacks doing it

eliminating an ally is only usefull to get their cards and win the game or if they are about to be taken out anyway that way the team still keeps the cards

What he said.
I only took out a teammate once. Escalating game with both of us in weak position. I took him out, cardset allowed me to take another out, etc, etc...

I'm with Anarchy Ninja on this one. If someone comes after your teammate & cuts them down to 1 country & 1 army, and it's your turn, you might as well keep their cards on the team. Even dumping all your armies onto them generally isn't going to help. I ask permission first, but that's the only time. Otherwise, your playing to lose, and that's just stupid.

By the way, superstud1234 is playing to lose in one of my games too. It's only funny because he's not my teammate.

I'm tempted to put superstud1234 on ignore...

... on the other hand, I'm also tempted to seek out games he is in and make sure I'm on the other team...

i was going to trap superstud and leave him there till he deadbeated, but didnt...

he actually had the gall to say gg at the end of it, and give me a negative feedback because I said he ruined the game...which of course he did...

i do wish there was an ignore list for problem players like this....so you can just click them all at once....
