Deleting Chat and/or flag chat lines as notes/teamchat After you posted them
Please allow users to ether delete chat or flag it as a note or team/chat after they posted it. Sometimes it happens I (and probably some others as well) accidently write a note or team chat in the public chat, giving viable information to your enemies, especially in foggy games. Especially when sitting for a friend and wanting to write a note, thinking it's a team chat i'm just putting in a lot of information in a game with fog, for everyone to read. If i understood correctly there is no way to fix this, while it's clearly not my intention to show that information to my opponents, as might just lose the game JUST because of that single line of text as now my opponents know exactly what my plans are and are able to anticipate on that.
now i could maybe try to contact a GM about it, but it might even be too late before a GM reads it, and even if one reads it, he might not even be allowed/able to remove the chat.

I could see how this would be useful. How often do you think you've misposted something in a game chat/team chat? And the rest of you out there?

This could also be massively abused for secret diplomacy.

my thoughts exactly..Metsfanmax wrote:This could also be massively abused for secret diplomacy.
All sorts of things would be said in chat, then quickly erased as soon as there was any report.

It would also be extremely useful for people who flame and then want to hide the evidence.Metsfanmax wrote:This could also be massively abused for secret diplomacy.
Unless admins and multi hunters have the power to view all chat, including private chat, that means lack would have to dig up the logs every time there's a report which doesn't match the chat.
I think this would cause more problems than it would solve. Learn from your mistakes instead, I say.

Well they already have this power with the wall and forums. No reason to say this cant extend to chat. Though private chat should be left alone. Well admin maybe. But unless hunters become completely impartial then no.MeDeFe wrote:It would also be extremely useful for people who flame and then want to hide the evidence.Metsfanmax wrote:This could also be massively abused for secret diplomacy.
