As it is now: 20, you get Bronze. 40, you get Silver. 60, you get Gold. My suggestion is that when you get to Gold, there is a number on the medal showing what your crossmap number is at. So, when you first acheive the gold medal, there's a 60 on it, then the next one you get, it changes to 61, etc etc.
How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
The crossmap medal shows the diversity of players. However, with so many maps coming out, the crossmap medal becomes weaker. Getting gold means that you have conquered 33% of the maps. The number 60 is good for the gold medal, but there is a huge difference from getting 60 and even 90 which is 50%...
There are many medal chasers on this site, and some have the entire gold set (or did before the random medal) and I think this would add something to bragging rights, and would add excitement to the new maps for those players wanting to keep that number growing.
This is just a suggestion to help with the fun of medal chasing.

I agree that SOMETHING should be done to revamp the Crossmap medal. It's being devalued every time a map comes out (but that's not a bad thing, necesasrily.)
If there was something like a Platinum Medal (which has been suggested countless times before), it would be perfect for something like 100 maps.
