that is incorrect,

InsomniaRed recently awarded general contribution medals for those who participate in live chat. a few months before that i received one for my efforts in the submissions forum.

I'll go ahead and move this to submitted, as it is already in the works.

i was tempted to do it this way but then thought there might be different comments/objections to players or organisers getting one

is there any chance Victor could give us a teaser of what is to come in the next CC newsletter ?

That would be nice I guess, but the quality of player to play mafia might suffer. Too many people would play just to get medals and possibly ruin a good game otherwise.

I fully understand your idea and I'm glad you rate us this high, but we all know that there are some people who are a little crazy for medals and I would really hate the quality to go down... even more.

My advice would be like Live Chat. Longevity and quality should dictate the medal consideration, not for every win or something, that would be ridiculous.

100% agreed - if we'll give medals for every win, there are going to be a bunch of medal hunters who will only care about the medals and who will ruin the quality and in the long run this forum would be likely to die... And I do not want that.

As Safari said, some people deserve for their long term commitment (Edocsil, Mandalorian, strike wolf, Safari, etc.), but they would have to be sparse and reward quality rather than quantity.

I think they realise the restrictions are necessary. I also notice Victor and Strike are in on this, so we can assume they guided it into the right direction. It would be great for the players who kept Mafia forum alive to get some recognition for their efforts.
