$25 for us Rich americans isn't that much, but for those super poor people in the 3rd world countries, $25 is like a years pay for them. That's just not fair. I think the cost of premium should be changed to be $25 worth of goods and services etc. So the poor countries premium only costs $2.
Also, some people won't be on for a year. How about selling it by the month? Say...$3 per month. $2/month is $24 a year so that doesn't work. $3/month is $36 a year...so that's $11 more than yearly...

They need to get a job or move to a real country so $25 is nothing like it is to us Americans.
Re: Premium cost - Per country level
I foresee IP changing tricks to get premium at a discounted price...

Monthly was already suggested and blasted to pieces. Creates a bunch of book work for lackattack and such.
I'm on iPhone and not going to make the effort to look up the link for you. But knock urself out.
In regards to country cost, they use the same amount of bandwidth etc. So they cost The same amount of CC's (lack's) time and hosting / bandwidth. That cost is based on USD and how much lack values accounting time. Therefore, they pay the same amount.
It may be a global market, but lacks not getting charged differently for who uses it where and in their dollar / money (like a euro) so he passes down the same costs / person.
He's here to make a profit you know :p not just entertain a bunch of random SOB's

EDIT: I don't expect lack to take a loss just to facilitate people like me. Business is business. Those who can afford it buy premiun, those who can't stay freemium unless they are lucky enough to get free premium one way or the other.

Re: Premium cost - Per country level
- If someone can't afford $25, playing an online game is not the biggest one of their worries.
- Users could change their IP's to allow them to get cheaper premium
- There is no definite way to tell where a user is from, even if they don't mask their IP's.
- This is a business, profits can't be cut just to allow someone to enjoy the features for far less of a price.
- IF, all of the above weren't problems, everyone that does't get the extremely cheap rate would bitch and moan about it.
