Araldite's 2011 F1 season(Cancelled)

This is my first Tournament so I apolagise in advance as it won't be very pretty( I have a lot to learn regarding forum tricks), What it will hopefully be though is exciting and competitive.

Participation:-
I'm looking for 12 teams of 2 drivers+ any singles as reserve drivers

Restrictions:-
Premium members only as race games will overlap through the season.
Minimum games played 100 with at least 98% turns taken (I will accept a lower % rate if a good reason is given for the drops)

Format:-
We will try to mirror the actual championship by playing a total of 4 games to represent each race in the season:-
Games 1&2 (6player games) will each host 6 of the 1st drivers of the 12 teams(after Australia 1st drivers will be designated by championship position at the time the games are created)
Games 3&4 (6 player games) will each host 6 2nd drivers of the 12 teams
Game 5 (8 player game) will host the top 2 players from games 1,2,3+4.
Game 6 (8 player game) will host the 3rd & 4th players from games 1,2,3+4
Games 7 (8 player game) will host the 5th & 6th players from games 1,2,3+4
Games 5,6+7 all give an opportunity for drivers of the same team do work together (or not) in the single play format.

Game variables:-
The way each actual race transpires will dictate the variables of our games:-

Initial troops:-
The race winner finishes over a lap ahead of over 49% of field=automatic
the race winner finishes over a lap ahead of less than 50% of the field=Manual

Play order:-
Less that 50% DNF=sequential
50%+ DNF=free style

Spoils:-
No safety car deployed=escalating
1 safety car deployed=flat rate
2 safety cars deployed=no spoils
3+ safety cars deployed=Nuclear

Reinforcements:-
No single team ties up front row of the grid=adjacent
A team ties up front row of grid=chained
A team ties front row and finish 1st & 2nd=unlimited

Fog of war:-
No rain(no wet tyres were used during the race)=no fog of war
Rain(wet tyres used during the race)=fog of war

Obviously as the race dictates the variables I will not be launching games 1&2 until after the actual race.

Scoring & medals:-
All 8 in game 5 will finish 1st to 8th in the race
All 8 in game 6 will finish 9th to 16th
All 8 in game 7 will finish 17th to 24th
Points will be awarded to drivers and teams just as in the sport
I am able to offer a TA medal to the drivers champion and I'm hoping to secure permission for a GA medal for both drivers in the Team champions but as yet that has not been granted.

How to sign up:-
Sign up as a team leader and driver (no1 driver for the sake of the 1st race)
Name your 2nd driver(they will need to sign up confirming they are your 2nd driver)
Give your team a name

Once you have launched your team i will PM you and get you to list all the tracks in order of preference, I will use these lists to ascertain placing in games 1 to 4 throughout the season.
