This guy gave me a 3 star rating in 2 categories and then a one star rating in Fair Play? I asked him how I didn't play fair....I didn't cheat or form secret alliances or anything....I did my turns on time and we both ended up losing the game. He hasn't responded to me. So I checked the ratings he has left for other people and he seems to have given a lot of people bad ratings. I can't believe there are that many people out there playing unfairly or with bad attitudes that deserve such low ratings.

C&A mods are going to want several more examples of why you believe this player abuses the ratings system. They will want you put some effort into this.
The player may not make it past the multi check anyway.

So he just wrote me back and said....
"I never atack you and the first eliminated it's me by you.... "
That proves that he didn't rate me out of any real basis but just out of anger of being eliminated. I eliminated him because it seemed like the right move for me at that time in the game. That's part of the game!! I shouldn't have to suffer a bad rating because he is angry that he got eliminated. This seems like a pretty clear ratings abuse.

no offence, but th ratings section states that 3 stars are average, not bad. I concurr however with your statement, I also only like to receive 5 stars, anything else is a blemish. Still its a far cry from rating abuse...

I didn't get 3 stars all around. He gave me a one star in Fair Play and 3 stars in Game Play and Attitude. A one star rating!!! How was knocking him out not playing fair. That's part of the game.

I understand you don't agree with the rating, but 1 rating does not make it abuse.
If you want this looked into you have to do some leg work.
Give 5 rating that the accused gave that are abuse. That means you have to go into the games and show why they are abuse.

OK fair enough. After I called him on giving me a baseless rating simply because I was the one who eliminated him he withdrew his rating so I'm not going to go crazy pursuing this. However I have run into people like this before who have given bad ratings simply because they lost and I disagree, I think this does constitute ratings abuse.
Anyway I checked into his other ratings and if you look at the games where he gave someone an all 1 star rating it doesn't appear that they deserved it. I checked the game logs and the game chats and he gave people 1 star ratings to players who either won the game or knocked him out of the game. It didn't appear that any of them didn't play fair or said anything rude in the game chat or in any other way deserved a bad rating.

It only works if people give real ratings based on how people really played. You don't have to give out any ratings at all if you don't want. I understand being frustrated at losing or being eliminated but its not right to claim someone didn't play fair because they beat you.
