Controversial.
I outlined in a post below in a logical fashion why team players are high ranked because of the favoritsm of the score rating system.
Most ignored it, probubly because most were busy knocking one out over blitz who will be at 5k within a month, or spending time moarning Nicole Smith instead of dead Soldiers or Citizens in Iraq.
So I am calling out the scoring system: it is bullshit. Blitz and Jork are the two top players as of this post. I've played them both, they are good guys, but so are the majority of the other 15000 players of this site.
Non-team game players will never get high rank because of the score system. Arseholes will take advantage of this, and imho already have, to lord it over us mere standard game players.
This must be addressed.

Hmm...
I like the philosophical angle.
What is the purpose of the scoring system?
Some people take advantage of welfare and tax loopholes. Is your solution to that problem that more people should be taking advantage of it?
The purpose of the scoring system is to communicate who the best players are. In it's current form it communicates who the best players are that play a lot of doubles games.

My point was really based on the idea that if everyone abuses the same system then we see who is the best at it based on that system.
The system is strong Risk Reward system. Lets look at it like the stock market...
Doubles are your bonds- Lower chance of losing, but lower points are meted out.
Terminator games are your stocks- If you know what you are doing and invest wisely you can walk away with a gain or more, but there is more risk involved
Standard- Now this is like your Futures. You must know what you are doing to make money here. You MUST know how to play well to win these regularly. High point yeild though!
I didn't add Sin game because I am yet to play it...
But basically the system is based much like America's economy. Risk and Reward! How fitting for Risk style gaming...
In conclusion, if you don't like the current scoring system you also don't like America. (No matter if you agree with me or not, you must admit I am entertaining at the very least!)

I dont like the current scoring system. I quite like some of America. I dont like other parts of it. I am British and not American. You cannot acuse me of being either liberal nor conservative since my values are to the British political system and therefore my political allegiance is not to the Republican nor the Democractic party.
My point is: GrazingCattle is a moron.

This suggestion is more complicated to implement but there could be one score, and a breakdown of scores among all the different games you've played.
I wonder if some greasemonkey monkey could code something to analyse a player's results and display won/lost of the different types as a percentage.
You'd only be able to see this info if you had downloaded the script but still it would be interesting to know your scores and those of whom you are playing with.
