I have a map idea but need help

I have this one map idea but i don't know anything about making maps. And honestly i really didn't get this map idea out of thin air but it comes from this one map on a risk app that my dad has on his ipad. Please can anyone help me.

What is the idea?

It is a sphere that is made of smaller spheres connected by cylindrical lines with a smaller sphere (connected the same way) inside and a sphere (1 space sphere) inside that connected to every space sphere of the middle sphere. The is no territory bonuses.

I don't know how to make a picture that's why I'm asking for help so i can know how to make maps (with the drafts) but to try to make things simpler its 3 spheres 1inside another and the last one is just a space or territory (something u take over that is just one unit , like western united states on the classic map).

Do you have PowerPoint? You could use that to make a rough draft, that's what I do.

i could get on powerpoint at school but how do i make a visual picture of the map

You can use the drawing toolbar in PowerPoint then save the file as a jpeg, upload it to photobucket or wherever, then post it here.

OK ill try to make a picture there but with Christmas break starting Wednesday i wont have much time to make it because i can only get on during the week at school and only every other weekend I'm with my dad and he has internet but my mom doesn't and since my mom swapped weekends ill be at my moms for the entire Christmas break and it will last about two weeks so ill have to post picture after then ( i don't want anyone stealing my idea and getting the credit for it because this is the first time for me of making a map and i need the experience of making one to get better at it and hopefully getting better (and more complicated) ideas.

red= top of sphere
blue=bottom of sphere
yellow= both the top and bottom of sphere

sry i couldnt do so well in drawing it and i would screw things up if i did more than one sphere due to a 2d platform it would mess it up but imagine a sphere like this (only smaller in that and a green circle (to represent 1 space, like each colored sphere) in the exact middle of both spheres (only accesseble on both ends of the ends of an x,y,z grid, or through six ways to attack it)
is it ok that u can help me make it a reallity to make it a map after christmas break (like programming it, as well as teaching me how to do it myself so i can do it on my own)
u can make any changes u think is neccessary whether or not u are going to help me make it a reallity (so i can have a better model to go by-mine i think is LAME)( also im going to try to ad an easter egg in the background-it will be sphere represents the sun and stars will be in the background)
im trying to bring about the idea of 3d maps

Ahoy Theodoulos,

I understand your concern about wanting to protect your work and ideas---I know I feel the same way about my own creative things!

But I don't think you have to worry too much about intellectual property stealing in the Foundry. Other than the fact that our whole process is built around it, ahem, World Domination.

You can't copyright an idea.

I think those are points on a surface?
If I right I can think of 3 ways you could do it I think the first tow would defeat the point and so the 3rd would be your chose
to draw the near and far sides and to targets and link the outsides
to draw it like a world map with the point at the crossing of latitude and longitude lines thought all the territories though the sides would be linked
to oftest the centers which will be hard

and yes the circles are points the color code is to help determine depth
and thank u hansow u gave me an idea of having an x,y,z grid in the center so ppl can have an easier time seeing it as a sphere

I'm back but I'm having technical difficulties...in school I'm trying to go to this site (conquerclub) but it keeps redirecting me to the old school website (it doesn't exist so it's saying site not found. Anyone have any suggestions.

Sounds like your school firewall is blocking the site.

It isn't blocked or it would say it was through lightspeed but it is redirecting instead... It is also redirecting on one of the sites of which I'm learning Russian.
also I won't be getting on ( with the exeption of every week) so due to that fact anyone can feel free to make the sphere map themselves and get the credit I was more interested in it being out.
