Play Axis and Allies online game

Just want to let people here know to try a browser-based Axis and Allies game online at http://www.battleforces.com. I think that many people here will like it. they have a variety of maps and gameplay options. feel free to check it out. Let me know what you think.

well, you should be able to find some other players. just sign up for an account, then click "join a game." there's almost always a few games waiting for players.

I already had an account from awhile back turns out. and I probably left and forgot about it cause it's dead and no one is playing rt games. but playing against a computer is fine enough for me

Is it like CC where you have 24 hrs to take your turn or do you have to finish a game in one sitting?

You get 24 hours - though if you create a game you can specify the length of the turns from 10 minutes up to 1 week. One caveat - on that site all turns are played simultaneously, so it's probably closest to the freestyle games here. It does offer some interesting strategic options (armies can actually pass through each other), though it's a far less regulated site. I'm a moderator over there, and we have very limited powers. There is a flame wars forum if you miss that, but expect to spend a lot more time on diplomacy over there. Unlike here, any form of diplomacy (secret, or otherwise) is completely legal. It can be fun at times, but it can also be frustrating and time consuming. Though, in the forums, you do get people setting up games with "no alliances" as one of the house rules.
