odds of...
I am just curious as to the odds of getting a turn in when someone has 3 cards and when he has 4 thanks in advance.

02:59:29 ‹Khan22› wouldn't you love to have like 5 or 6 girls all giving you attention?
10/11/2010 02:59:39 ‹TheForgivenOne› No.

I think he means what are the odds of having a spoil set if you've only recieved 3 cards? As well as what the odds are if you have received 4 cards that you would have a set to turn in.
I think it really depends on the size of the map. I'm not 100% on the way the cards are determined though.

somewhere around 80% when you have 4 cards

Sets are based on color of the cards which there are only 3 options for regardless of the size of the mapGSP JR wrote:I think he means what are the odds of having a spoil set if you've only recieved 3 cards? Yeah, I understand that. I guess my thoughts were, if you have a small map, then there are fewer cards. If you have a large map, there would be more cards so the likelyhood would change.ljex wrote:Sets are based on color of the cards which there are only 3 options for regardless of the size of the mapGSP JR wrote:I think he means what are the odds of having a spoil set if you've only recieved 3 cards? Then I read your 33% and decided my brain isn't functioning today.

With four cards the odds of a set are 7/9, but only 2/3 if you didn't have a three-card set.
