Speed Game
I'm sure it's been brought up before but:
Its really frustrating to be in a speed game and have time run out on you when you are going on a large run. Now obviously there are ways around this. You can play on smaller maps... You can adjust your strategy and not go for the large run... but in some instances, that is just the best decision to do so, and the worst part is, is that it counts as a missed turn and you don't even get spoils. Not really sure what the solution might be. I'm not sure if the computer could recognize when a player is actually active (based on number of attacks per minute or something, and grant an extension), but looking for a solution would be beneficial, IMO.

Re: Speed Game
i agree with original statement look at games like aor or feudal i had it today i hade close to 300 troups and was sitting back allowing the rest to fight it out ran out of time 3 times during main attacks 3 times where opposition had cards to trade at 40 cards and above fluffing my attacks. and them hitting me back and i was having to rebuild my troups to attack again
Re: Speed Game
I agree with the suggestion to have a 'plays per minute' option to continue - say 10 plays per minute. Although staying away from the larger maps on speed would be beneficial too.

Re: Speed Game
speed games should be faster, not slower. If anything there should be an option for the person creating the game to specify how long the turns should be. I have been an advocate of 2 and 1/2 minute turns in speed games for years now, but hey if there is an option made, then so be it if people want 10 minutes per turn. I just wont be playing those. But options are always nice.

Re: Speed Game
I can not actually play speed games being I have not got premium yet, but do have an idea to offer. (Prolly not a good idea in freestyle games though)
So, when playing online poker at most sites, you get a time bank of an extra 30-60 seconds that you can use per hand/round/tourney depending on rules. If you see that you need more time you click it and have some for that particular decision.
Maybe something similar can be done here. Give players 3 minutes (or whatever amount works) of time bank that can be used during each game. I am sure that those of you that play speed games often could put specifics to this to make it a viable option.

I was going to make the same sugestion. By making it optional it wont bog down the gamewith AFKsIrather Nottell wrote:I can not actually play speed games being I have not got premium yet, but do have an idea to offer. (Prolly not a good idea in freestyle games though)

Re: Speed Game
i could agree with this, you may need sometimes around 7-10 mins to finish your attacks, some people wouldn't use 'auto assult' as they could plan only to kill some armies, not to take the territory for tactical reasons.
